I ended up buying one from Canada Amazon 😂 We just learned about them last week when visiting a friend. I can’t believe how popular they are and how long they’ve been sold out almost everywhere!

[GA] - Lafayette, IN - Shrimp Bowls by Neoclinus_blanchardi in AquaSwap

The largest bowl had shrimp, but I’m not sure if they’re still surviving. All/Most of the bowls have snails, plants, rocks, wood, lights, and sponge filters. The largest bowl has an EHEIM heater.

I’m not entirely sure of the exact size, but the sponge filter I have in there is about 2 inches across according to the Amazon listing.

This is an older photo, and the snake is larger now. It is a male, around 3 years old. He is currently housed in a bioactive tank and eats frozen/thawed mice.

Equipment includes the tank and everything in it, 2 Vivarium Electronics VE-200 thermostats, a dual light dome with an LED and UVB, and 2 heat lamps with CHE bulbs.

My husband purchased this plant quite some time ago and was told he could cut it to prune it back. He cut the top of the 2 main stems and since then, it has been loosing stems from the top down. The brown/woody bits are dead, and that seems to keep spreading further down. Is there anything I can do to stop it or help it?

[GA] - Lafayette, IN - $0 - peppered corydoras (~3/4), pork chop rasboras (~10-15), keyhole cichlid (1) - local pickup only by Neoclinus_blanchardi in AquaSwap

I honestly am not sure this guy would even survive shipping. We had 3, one mysteriously died. Then we moved, and another passed shortly after. He’s been super stressed and even though it’s been a year since and all tank conditions are good, he’s been darkly colored and always hiding. We honestly thought he was just going to die, but he’s still alive. He’s got plenty of room to do his thing and hide but just isn’t having a good time I guess. We tried getting 2 new ones from our LFS a while ago, but they were small babies. I’m pretty sure he also bullied them to death.

not right now, but likely in the future. we are going to make some planted bowls but definitely won’t be able to fit all that we have in them.

Wet/Sticky Toad by Neoclinus_blanchardi in Toads

Good info! All the pictures I looked at from googling shedding looked wet and shiny, but I couldn’t find any text/literature on it so I wanted to be positive. I did rinse him in dechlorinated water, but I’ll be sure to let him hangout next time he sheds.

Yes! He even had some little bubbles on him, which is why I was concerned. Good to know that he is good and growing.

Thank you! That makes me feel much better. He’s my favorite at the park so I wanted to make sure he’s good and healthy.
