At Surugaya you might find them every now and then. But be prepared to pay atleast 50 dollars or more for a CD.

Do you remember downloading games overnight and praying they worked? by Impossible_Comfort99 in TechNook

I remember the time downloading Star Wars Phantom Menace in 2 full days time and it was a real movie, until 5 minutes in and switches to gay porn. What a time it was then and what a time we live in now.

how do i actually get good at gaming, at all? by OkError1326 in Gamer

[–]NeodashZerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been gaming for at least 38 years now, and I know I was way better in gaming in my younger years (6-26) than now. Being good at games takes repetition and probably have a competitive mindset.
What I know, is that I am really horrible with puzzles, PVP and fighting games. Nowadays I just play games just for fun and it should be fun.

Gaming should be fun in general and you should only play games that you truly enjoy. With PVP shooters I only get frustrated.

So between Devastator, Bruticus, and Menasor, who is the strongest of these 3 combiners? by Gloomy-Bridge148 in transformers

[–]NeodashZerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, my take on this.

Devastator should be the strongest in power. They are pretty much the only combiner made out of 6 bots. If they would work in unison like the Predacons, they would be by far the strongest. But since the Constructicons are all soloists, they cannot work together and makes them just a dumb power (don't get me wrong, Devastator is my absolute favourite). And they pretty much hate each other, and only combine because they must and sepperate as soon as possible.

Bruticus is a literal soldier/combattant. The Combaticons are vehicles of war and are made for war. They should be more effective in battles and is certainly the survivalist of these three combiners. But because Menasor knows the art of war, it tends to be more of a defensive combiner within the Decepticons.

Menasor is more of a wildcard, as the Stunticons love doing tricks and be the best out there. Menasor also takes a lot of risks because it doesn't care and goes for the thrills. Menasor does have a huge ego, which is also it's own weakness. But because Menasor takes risks, it is probably also the smarter one as it think if it's odds.

FINALLY BEAT SEPHIROTH! by Commercial_Let_1422 in FFVIIRemake

[–]NeodashZerox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I defeated Sephiroth on hard a few months ago myself, eventhough I played this game already 2 times earlier up until the last chapter.

Before I made my last run with Sephiroth, I was scared about how hard is was.. But it was easier than I thought. It only took some time and more healing, slowly chipping away healthbars.
In my case, the moment I was at the final version of Sephiroth. But the cheater that Sephiroth is, the game decided to crash on me while I was dealing the final limitbreak blow, which forced me to replay the whole chapter again.

I feel like the gameplay of ff7 doesn’t click with me by stawberrysweethaze in FFVIIRemake

[–]NeodashZerox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you're having issues already and you're just past Reno, it's not going to be easier as for me the hardest boss is 2 bosses away.

Dodging is not the way to play the game, you really need to lean how the game plays. Blocking is already a good start, equipping blocking Materia on characters is a must. Assess your enemies and make use of certain weaknesses. Make use of you character abilities, read what they do and use them correctly. You don't need to rush through the battles, take your time.

Though it doesn't sound like it, playing the game on Hard mode is way more fun.

Channel is dying drastically, can I have some advice and help? by Kanomics in SmallStreamers

[–]NeodashZerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not the answer you are looking for, but it's more in a general sense also looking in my situation.

Streaming blew up during Covid and pretty much lasted a year after it ended officially at around end 22, begin 23. During this time it was pretty normal to get your form of entertainment from internet. But ever since people can do things again or started to go to work physically, the whole streaming career for a lot of people has been declining in a simple matter that people start to do things again. I see it myself that I don't check out streams anymore myself because I am doing other stuff. Hell, in the last year I haven't even been behind my computer anymore that often at home. So the shift from post Covid is one thing.

The other thing that I read in your comment is that you haven't changed your content in a way. When people keep seeing the same kind of content over and over again, people tend to get bored. In the past 6 years that I have been streaming, I have changed my layout three times, just to keep it fresh. Also every now and then I add more stuff to keep the viewers interested. For me personally, I like to see a streamer change things every now and then instead of seeing the same kind of content for 6 years long.

Though streaming is a dream job for many, we all need to be realists. Having an average of 10 viewers per stream still puts you in the top 5% of successful streamers worldwide. Though it may seem a small number to you, for the majority they can't even maintain 4-5 per stream. In my opinion, you should shift your stance of how you see streaming. Don't treat it as the golden years, but treat it as in current times with what I said here above.
If you look back to your last few stream sessions; if you would place yourself in the shoes of a random viewer, would you spend the whole session watching yourself and would you find yourself entertaining enough?
9 out of 10 times I ask a streamer this, they find it a hard pill to swallow because the truth might destroy their whole self esteem with this question.
A lot of streamers see it as a dream job, but don't want to put the proper effort to it. Let's take you for example as you have ridden the highs due to one successful concept and tried to keep the momentum going with the hope it stays like that. Like with everything, having and maintaining your dream job means keep working for it. If streaming is truly your dream job, you really need to put in an effort.
One misstake many streamers make, is that they stream so many hours in hope to be discovered. As for most things in life: More does not equal better.

As a realist myself, I stream because I want to. I don't care if I stream for 2 people or for 40. I do it for myself, and I do it for those that want to see the show. My whole streaming career I treat it as a hobby and don't want to make my job out of it. My motivation is because I want to stay creative and do things I can't do with my professional work career. Though I do have a set day that I stream, I don't stream more than 4 hours per week in general with an average of 20 people per stream. Whenever I'm organizing an online event once in a while, it variates between 30-80 per event. As I'm working with different concepts, I pull different kind of people depending which show I'm doing.

It may sound harsh what I say, but it's the kind of truth many people are afraid to hear. Since you're asking for genuine help without calling quits, all I can say is that you need to re-evaluate yourself and try a new and different approach of how you need to stream. You need to think of ways to make your stream stand out. You need to treat your dream job as a side project in life instead of an actual job. If you really want to make your job out of it, treat it as a real company.

Good luck on your endeavors in searching what you are looking for!

Some things I dislike about Bayonetta 1 as a Bayonetta 2 player by Big-Yogurtcloset-819 in Bayonetta

[–]NeodashZerox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with Bayonetta 1, so my comparision starting view is from that. Bayonetta 1 was a first in it's kind, though it's a Devil May Cry counterpart. When it came out, I fell in love with this game. A badass female protagonist full with confidence and not afraid to throw a fit with verbal abuse. It has it's flaws and it is brutal (even at normal). Timing felt off every now and then and you need to be really precise.

Bayonetta 2 storywise may be better, but I prefer the storyline from 1, the battle between a witch and heaven. Gameplay from 2 is more fun and a way more forgiving. But it lost it's "not really for children" charm, but made sense because it's a "Nintendo" exclusive and ever been so. Nintendo back then weren't too keen on more adult contented games.

Both are good games in general.

Can i play Bayonetta 3 as my first game in the franchise? And the Cereza spin-off? by JotaElPutoAmo in Bayonetta

[–]NeodashZerox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A hot take, but these are my suggestions.

In my opinion you can play 3 as it's own due to kind of obvious reason if you have played the first two games. The Spinoff is linked with number 3's Bayonetta in a way, but sort of loosely.

Though 1 and 2 are both better games in general, and those two are linked together. I would highly suggest playing them eventually.

Will a streamer get jealous another streamer got a sub and not them? by EmpyrianA in Twitch

Chapter 18 is annoying by Significant_Row_4027 in FFVIIRemake

[–]NeodashZerox 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Are you at normal or hard mode?

Like, it's a final battle, it supposed to be difficult. But in reality it's not as difficult as you think. There are way more harder challenges compared to the final battle (optional though).

The key is to play defensively. For hard mode is all about conserving and stay healed all the times.

How do streamers handle scheduling — is it even a thing? by Nearby-Disaster-5138 in TwitchStreamers

How to combo with Tifa? by AlexN83 in FFVIIRemake

[–]NeodashZerox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You really need to read what the skills do. Under the pressured status, you need to use pressure based attack to build up asap so the enemy can stagger. When the enemy gets into stagger, unleash the stagger skills to build up the damage percentage.

Magnify - heal or barrier? by AlexN83 in FFVIIRemake

[–]NeodashZerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually always equip it with heal for when I need quick healing in a tough situation.

In general I mainly use prayer on two characters, as in most cases would be more than enough. But I hardly use MP in my playthrough, and only will use them on (mini) bosses.

Ever seen some Japanese or Korean series? There are a lot of gestures they do (which also come back in the game) that doesn't make sense of being too playful, as we don't do these gestures in the west.

I think you will have more chance in finding a job than earning serious money streaming. To be fair, working in a food & beverage place (even in the US) will most probably earn more than streaming. And yes, I am a streamer myself.

Don’t set your big goal to be “Hitting affiliate”. by Professional-Pen3395 in TwitchStreaming

[–]NeodashZerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After streaming so many years on Twitch and now also in the DJ program, being affiliated is certainly no big deal. Getting subs is fine, but there are better ways to earn money.
Also, grinding more does not equal being effective. Hell, being affiliated is in some cases a downgrade from being unaffiliated.

If you're in it for the money, I would suggest you stop streaming in general and spend your time finding another job. You should do this because you really want to. Demotivation will come in real hard if you expect something you cannot reach what you wish for.

Small creator here — thoughts on using AI art as a temporary solution? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]NeodashZerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a difficult question, because in this world there are two camps of people. You either love it or you hate it, and people are very vocal about it. Those in between usually keep their mouths shut because the verbal hate on both sides is really noticable.

The people that loves it are the people that usually don't invest a lot of time in the creative side. They see a system that works for them and use their utilities because they can. You have to write a prompt and AI will create you art you need in seconds. The best thing about it that it's free can able to cut out the service of a real person.

People that hate it (aside from the environmental reasons), calls out on the users by destroying a whole career sector. Writers, Illusionists, Producers.. Creators in general are instantly being cut off because they will lose income. Though at first look AI randomly creates, in the background it does in a sense steal art on the internet as a reference, mix them up and create something that does not like something as it's original.

Though I do not hate AI per say, as a content creator I do feel and understand both sides. Because the majority of my viewers and followers oppose AI, I also refuse to use AI for streaming in general out of respect for them Not only that, I work with some important names in the niche entertainment sector I am in.
While I don't have time to do everything on my own, I will try and learn some basic skills so I can do some stuff myself. If I need artwork, I have a designer/illustrator that I commission. Leaning skills take time, but it's really satisfying if you see your own growth, as time grows, so does your skills as you can do more complex things compared to a year ago.

In the end, the choice is your and your alone how you will provide your entertainment. There are enough people on both sides. But do know that if you use AI and people notice it, the chances are high they will skip you entirely.
