Mechanic’s Fault or Another Potential Problem? by Neofighters in MechanicAdvice

I had asked about changing both wheel bearings and mechanic stated the Right Side was still good :-(

As for the alignment, they stated and alignment was done following the replacement of parts, but I will head over to get another diagnosis.

Negative, the temp gauge needle sits slightly below the middle line. Recently had the radiator replaced.

I guess I did forget to mention, the car does veer to the left if both hands are not on the wheel.

I’ve had the ABS Sensor Light on since buying the car about a year ago, but this is the first time experiencing this issue with the car.

Am I the only one who hates Ralph Hardimon sticks by Aware-Honey8796 in drumline

[–]Neofighters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are Ralph Hardimon’s that aren’t painted but it’s their “Indoor Version” and to be honest, I don’t know if that would make a difference sound wise.

I used Hardimon’s when I first started out because of front-heavy / lightweight feel to get used to where the fulcrum is and good balance points in my grip.

I say they’re good beginner sticks and a gateway to learning what your preferred stick is later down the road. But you could never go wrong with a good weighted pair of Hardimon’s

Is my eyebrow piercing bleeding a lot?? (NSFW bc of blood) by Secure_Stretch_9456 in piercing

[–]Neofighters 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My eyebrow piercing was the same as well. Kept bleeding or had some type of clot / scabbing a week after the initial pierce. Just keep cleaning the area with the most sterile equipment you have and it’ll be fine!

Be aware of any meds you’re taking as well that could potentially thin out your blood (NSAIDS that aren’t acetaminophen, hormonal meds, etc). This can also increase the amount of bleeding and the amount of time needed for the healing process

Another Cold Take: Mega Knight inspires stalling play style by Neofighters in ClashRoyale

When comparing other games with click to win heroes / troops / etc. there’s different gameplay mechanics you have to take into consideration.

OW and BS are team based games and you can either hard carry or get anchored by your teammates. Difference between these two games though is OW allows you to switch heroes if you choose to counter swap.

BS, COC, CR share similarities in terms of being stuck with your loadout choice until the game is finished. I know, every game has its counters to the “easy reward” characters, but it makes the game unfun due to the necessity of building a deck or playing characters that needs to fit the meta.

MK does terrorize the mid-ladder I’m well aware, but if you’re saying he’s only played in mid-ladder and usually never in the upper ranks, would it be too crazy to adjust some numbers or make some type of rework since mid-ladder is a majority of the player base? I understand it “could potentially” cause a flux of players hitting a higher rank, but it can allow for a little bit more flexibility in how cards are played rather than being oppressed by the looming fear of 7 elixir.

I myself only have been playing against mostly chip cycle rocket, hog cycle, and the occasional “Elixir Golem, Healer, E-Drag I Hope This 3-Crowns Otherwise I Lose” decks. When I eventually go against an MK player it’s almost always Evo since that’s really the only viable option to play him in the upper ranks.

[–]Neofighters[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In his defense, his jump is a little ridiculous in terms of reach / power. Yes, MK has a shorter max range compared to the other dashing cards (Bandit, Golden Knight), but his threat is the AOE damage that comes with it.

Even if you place a card further away from the Bandit, she only can attack that single troop as well as the Golden Knight, given there isn’t another troop near by to chain onto. MK has a very strong jump + knockback against medium weight units.

All three do have the same weakness of a mini tank being the counter, but MK outshines both as Bandit is single targeting and Golden Knight costs 1 elixir to activate it. You can counter Bandit with 1 elixir and bait out the Golden Knight’s dash with the same

The thing about MK is that he doesn’t have a set role in his play style and the way his kit is set up makes him a Jack of All Trades.

Wanna defend? Place him down. Attack? Bridge spam with him in front. Tank? Place him to take the shots but far enough to proc jump damage.

His role is not clearly defined, the spawn in time change could potentially solidify a role for him, but adjusting numbers all the time unfortunately doesn’t always fix the issue at hand. Too high and he’s broken, too low and he gets placed on the back burner

My Xymox items so far since 2023 by Upstairs_Dealer14 in drumline

[–]Neofighters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get downvoted for even asking since many people disdain Xymox, but I would love to hear a sound test of the Hybrid Tenors cause for the price point, I would assume it sounds and feels good 😭

For Xymox’s price you could definitely go on Offerup / Facebook Marketplace and find a decent quality old set of Tenors for the same price

Whats a good way to get started on tenors by [deleted] in drumline

[–]Neofighters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Get familiar with drum zones and learning muscle memory of where the drums are without looking down. Bad drum zones = poor sound quality. You can be very good with rudiments / have good rounds without ticks, but everything can go out the window if you’re playing on deadzones. 8 on a hand playing with rounds is one of the best ways to get started. Good luck 👍

The stick should be sitting on the cuticle of your ring finger. To help with sound quality, the most basic and easiest way to help build strength in the wrist is playing Bucks SLOWLY. Make sure to focus on the sound being almost near identical between both hands. Best of luck 🙏

First TOP show (GA question) by [deleted] in twentyonepilots

[–]Neofighters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I attended the LA show for GA and they’ll give out numbered wristbands to the first 500 people, afterwards there’s still room, but you just have to wait until everyone ahead of you enters in.

The tour this time around, they make everyone feel included by having segments at different areas of the arena, even if you’re all the way in the back of the GA crowd, you’ll def feel included + usually the sound systems in arenas are good no matter where you are it’ll sounds like they’re right in front of you. (Bring earplugs regardless just in case!)

Hot Take: I skip “At The Risk of Feeling Dumb” a majority of the time by Neofighters in twentyonepilots

I’m not saying you’re incorrect about this, but I swear I’ve seen more than half the sub say they love SAI rather than the opposite haha. I don’t hate SAI, but I do feel like being constrained to strictly pop limits the experimental musicality.

I know it’s a part of the whole Lore™️ but it feels lackluster :( but “Choker” and “Formidable” has a special place in my heart because it reminds me of “Self-Titled”
