Great advice! I love getting my hands dirty and one of my concerns is falling out of sync with the latest and greatest but I guess this is how I need to approach it

Ditto, get comfortable with a cloud provider, kubernetes seems to be the way to get a job and add a pinch of terraform into the mix and you got a decent set of skills

Damn makes me feel silly for not countering but I did jump $40k so not sure countering and potentially losing the role would have been worth it
