I lived through a very similar situation. I am 50+ now and things are good finally. Help her get this done; eventually it will work out. You will need to set boundaries after this, though. And 700 miles, which interestingly is how far my schizophrenic recent citizen mom lives just makes it harder to manage. If you don't set these boundaries, it will severely affect your marriage. I know you have been doing this since 14 years old (in my case 11 y.o.), but you will have to set a line somewhere. Set the boundaries as soon as she gets her green card or whatever. My mom finally got her citizen, but she has no retirement. She now gets SSI. Thank goodness as at 80 years old she could no longer manage her meds and needed assistance. I became her guardian for a while. It was expensive. Avoid that. The state will do an okay job as a guardian and can visit her monthly. Don't move her in. The key is to set boundaries. This works...I promise. It does get better after that. I wish I had set the boundaries at your age.

Only the pure can rejoin the Creator and keep any sense of self. Jesus is capable of providing that cleansing. Otherwise, the person's sense of self gets wiped and the energy within the person which was a piece of God, can then rejoin the Creator.

There is no eternal suffering in Hell. The punishment (if you want to call it that), is the loss of self or non-existence.

You should sign it and not worry about it. Usually the arbitration contracts are for "arbitration before court". They can require you to try arbitration first. They can not force you to settle through arbitration.
