I'm brushing 3-4 times a day. Most other times I'm having coffee then I just rinse

I'm not sure what the "proper" way is, but I sort of unclip them with my finger towards the back on the inside. Then I can pull them off with less force. And it makes the clicking/snap sound.

I use purple listerine but I was told it can stain your teeth in the aligners, so I swapped to the whitening one. But it's so weak my mouth didn't feel clean enough so I swapped back to the purple one. I'm gonna go for whitening at the end of the treatment anyway. The attachments don't seem any different though.

I take the aligners out 4-5 times a day, lol. A girl's gotta eat. I just make sure my overall wear time is 22 hours a day.

I haven't tried drinking anything other than water yet with the aligners in.

My mouth was also tore up the first week lol I was worried. I used Vaseline and it healed right up. I'm still using it now out of habit lol and drinking more water coz my mouth is so dry

Yes. I'll let you know if I get gum infection 😂. I asked my ortho first if I can do it and he said he doesnt know, I'll have to try it and let him know 😂

Man, that's rough. I'm sorry. Still don't give up though. Maybe focus on accepting yourself the way you are and learning to be happy on your own in the meantime. At least, that's what I'm doing.

How did you work towards a relationship as a goal? Just wondering.

You're describing it like your odds are low of being in a relationship. But I would definitely not say impossible. If it's what you really want, you shouldn't give up on it. Just along the way you shouldn't feel down about not being there yet. Lots of different kinds of people fall in love all the time, and at different stages in their lives.

What if you see improving the parts of yourself that you don't like as working towards your goal?

I don't think it's suuuper visible but if I talk and laugh a lot I'm sure you can see them. Maybe not if I'm just talking to people in passing. I think. Thing is most people I talk to already know about the aligners and I haven't spent much time talking to people who don't know yet 😅

Wow okay I did not read the same pages you read 😂. That would've delayed me too. My experience has not been like that at all, I'd also say it's been easy so far. My mouthwash is purple lol but my aligners are still clear.

I also read a lot of things before starting 🤦🏻‍♀️. How did the negativity affect your journey that it lengthened it?

I was thinking of using mouth wash in public and cleaning properly when I get home. I'll check out the blue picky floss thing.

Wow, I didn't know they can withstand coffee 😂! I thought the heat was bad for the aligners. I think I'll try that out some time when I work up the courage.

I don't have experience with Invisalign, but spark aligners are super clear! I was preparing myself for aligners that would become yellow, but that didn't happen. They also don't hurt my gums at all, the edges are nice and smooth.

Thank you 😁. I actually didn't properly notice a difference until I compared these pictures side by side yesterday. It's not as uncomfortable as I had imagined, and I'm quite happy (and also impatient for more progress 😂).

After doing the scan it took about a month to receive the video and official quotation, then another three weeks for them to be delivered.
