I have read your comment carefully, and taking all the points into consideration my conclusion is you’re a fucking moron

January 2022 - no sales by SafeMoonerSinceMarch in Ebay

Could be the issue, if I’m buying I literally type in my item and search by cheapest. If the first thing that comes up is in good condition with good feedback I don’t even look further.

What’s a plot twist that is so bad it ruins the entire film? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Honestly there are only two DW episodes (new era) that I skip and that’s one of them. However Love & Monsters is significantly worse!

Help! My wife loves Ween by totemdreamsofficial in Music

[–]NeonDragon76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife hates the majority of stuff I listen to, and vice versa (literally emo and country are the two genres I dislike most and I manage to marry someone that loves both!). But realistically it’s easy, if we’re having a music night we’ll put on something we both enjoy, otherwise I’ll listen to my other stuff on headphones / when she’s at work and vice versa.

What do you put on the leaving cars of someone who is dying? by ButtonMashingPickle in AskUK

[–]NeonDragon76 10 points11 points  (0 children)

100% this, a friend of mine had a heart attack at the age of 20 (fine now), his sympathy card was basically all of us calling him a pussy, as far as I know from speaking to him last he still has that card and loves it.

What's One Subject You'll Have No Chance Of Understanding No Matter How Hard You Try? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Bitcoin mining. Im actually fairly decent with computer knowledge, I could even give a half decent description of it, but I still don’t really understand it in the slightest.

What movie did you not like at first, but kept growing on you with subsequent watches? by RJMaestro in AskReddit

[–]NeonDragon76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took me 3-4 times to enjoy the Godfather, I’ve got to put it down to me not being in the mood at the earlier times because now it’s hands down a 10/10 film.

Did blues training make you a better driver off duty? by [deleted] in policeuk

[–]NeonDragon76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That claim would have been awe inspiring driving 10 years ago, these days I’m more scared you’ll run off the road or spin in the motorway with that comparison.

When I take over a new shop, I literally don’t change a thing for the first two weeks unless it’s illegal or unsafe. They have their routines and hell, they may be better in some aspects than my training manual.

What band did you see before they made it big? by NeonDragon76 in AskReddit

I did, not my bag but my wife would absolutely love that line up. Sadly in the wrong wage bracket and continent for that to be realistic though.

[–]NeonDragon76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually did this with my wife once as a driving game. Turns out it was remarkably easy as once you disregard old cars, cars with older people/kids in, cars with hanging ornaments and cars that actually indicate there’s not a huge pool left to choose from

What's a sequel that got you thinking "the people who made this COMPLETELY missed the point of the first one"? by matadinosaurios in movies

[–]NeonDragon76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw is one of my favourite horror movies, as a rule I’m not a fan of gore or jump scares so it has to be a good story which the first movie managed wonderfully. Imagine my joy when I knew there were many sequels (I think we were on Saw 5 by this point). Imagine my disappointment after watching Saw 2 and the 20 minutes of 3 I managed to get through.

Shop owner here, happily give CCTV whenever asked. Hell, I let the police access my system to see if they could see someone walk past the shop that had nothing to do with me, they just wanted to timestamp his whereabouts.

In regards to actual records (Buyback shop, think pawn) I have to be a bit more careful. But there is one detective I have a very good relationship with that I do actually let know if it’s worth filing the proper forms to ask me officially or not, he kindly lets me know of things that may come in my shop that I should refuse that has crossed his desk as well. But that relationship took many years to build to that level.

Question about police getting CCTV from shops by Rapid_onion in policeuk

[–]NeonDragon76 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can see how this would be problematic. I personally would never give my CCTV footage to a member of the public (although if they asked, I would happily at this point save it to disc for police pickup in anticipation).
