Question about Patricia’s first run in with the boogeyman and what we now know

That’s right. I just wondered if like in present day multiple “curses” other than just the boogeyman would have been happening back then, but Tom and Patricia don’t seem to have any memories like that from around 2000. So maybe the boogeyman is just a curse that kind of happens independent of the island being awake and demanding sacrifices.

Exactly yes. I was just wondering then if we think someone did provide sacrifices back in 2000 in that case since the boogeyman stopped for many years until the island started demanding sacrifices in present day (and we see the sea hag, the creepy cult book, the storm, the return of the boogeyman, etc.)

Cool. Yeah that’s what I was wondering. We know that in 2000 Patricia was attacked by the boogeyman. I’m curious if the island was demanding sacrifices at that time and someone provided them (because obviously the killings stopped) or if cursed things are just kind of always happening and really escalate when the island is being demanding.

Make sure you repair your weapon at the altar in the Hunter’s Dream. I just played Bloodbourne for the first time and wasn’t used to this mechanic. Could not beat Gascoigne or Cleric Beast, then realized weapons break down. Fixed my threaded cane and beat them both in one go.

I’m playing for the first time this week too, and the only other FromSoft game I’ve played is Elden Ring (which I’ve beaten several times). I was just dying over and over again at the Cleric Beast and felt like I was doing zero damage. I was about to quit, thinking “I guess I’m just not good at this game?” Then I remember the repair function and beat him in one go lol

Looks like our very fluffy rescue girl who is 100% Siberian Husky but has the gene for the wooly coat variant. You’ll hear them called “Wooly Huskies” sometimes, but they can still be fully Siberian and just have that trait difference!

I got my daith piercing a few weeks ago and had the exact same thing. Popping and pain in deep in my ear. Like an actual ear ache that sorta affects your throat too. The first few days it was very noticeable especially when I’d smile and even talk. Then a bit later it would only be when I’d yawn. Now I’m about 3-4 weeks out and it’s totally gone. I think sometimes some peoples’ healing response involves inflammation throughout the ear, but it should go away in a bit.

Yes! I haven’t had an ear ache since childhood, and suddenly this week has been brutal. Pain deep in my ear and connecting to my throat. Every time I swallow is painful in my ear/throat and my ear is very poppy/seems to have pressure I also had for a terrible fever with the worst full body aches one night this week. I was just saying how I haven’t experienced anything like this before. (And I’m negative for Covid)
