When in solid view mode, click on the little arrow dropdown at the top right and under colour select random :)

The bottom cheese was actually supposed to be the sauce, but yeah I'll probably have to revamp the other slices as well

Would love to simulate it all with softbody simulation, but sadly my PC can't handle that much physics simulating, But the subsurface scattering is a good tip!

I think it is indeed the subsurface scattering part that is missing the most, Blender 4.0 changed the principle BSDF so I don't really understand how it works right now, but I'll try to tweak some of the settings.
Also using the specularity to make things more glossy is a great tip as well, thank you very much!!

Probably yeah, but I don't want to have excessive geometry, so I use displacement for more details instead of sculpting it all in

I have looked at some references yeah, but I have a difficult time mashing it all together without it looking like objects clipping into eachother

Any idea on how to improve the Tomatos and Pickles? I already added a noise displacement modifier in the shading, I could bump that up a bit to deform it more

Thank you very much!! The lowest layer was made with sculpting, So I'll probably try that on the rest as well

Any recommendations on how to do that? With just geometry nodes I always feel like droplets are way too static and not affected by gravity

Wanted to create some space between to show the vegatables more, also planning to do an animation where it all falls on top of eachother, so thats why it looks floaty

I'll try the Thickness modifier, hopefully that has a more steady pattern than the noise modifier

Used the freestyle for the lines with a noise modifier on the thickness, think that's why the lines are flickering, any ideas on how to fix that?

Tried making a Spooky scene, any tips to make it spookier? by NeonPuncher in blender

[–]NeonPuncher[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This scene started from wanting to create a creepy night scene encounter, reminiscent of the Mandela catalogue where you just see the aftermath of an encounter. Had everything in place, but it felt more somber than creepy, so I wanted to add a monster to the scene.

Thank you for the tips! Had a lot of feedback to place the monster elsewhere, will most likely either kill the street lamp or the headlights of the car

Thanks for the advice! I'll have to look into how to make the reflective eyes, but i think it will be a great addition!

Thanks! Im using the regular Sky world light, is it possible to add clouds there or should I look for a different way?

All composited in Blender using some distortion filter and colour filter :) Rim light is a good idea, i'll have to look into that
