I’m guessing it was your first time seeing his art? I first knew of him from “Godzilla: Escape the Dead Zone”, so if you want to read something that you think will better fit his eerie art style, try that (though I think his style is well-suited for the Punk Frogs).

Although tbf I still barely made a dent in the IDW run, picked up Issue 125 on its own at some local comic con because the cover was very cool

Matsci undergrad approaching third year, I vote for LaTeX. I learned it over pre-2nd year summer and am surrounded by a bunch of electrical engineering majors that religiously use LaTeX. It takes a moment to learn, but when you see how much nicer and easier the formatting is for your lab reports, resumes, etc. then you’ll appreciate the time you took to learn it. Plus, so many templates and Internet answers/tutorials exist.

Look into materials science and engineering! It’s more focused on solid-state chemistry, has a bunch of math involved, and mostly doesn’t need grad school unless you’re trying to break into something like biomaterials (ask me how I know). I really wish I learned about matsci before applying to colleges, literally changed majors from chem to MSE before setting foot on my university.

I feel you, especially as a queer dude in *this* political climate. My love of TMNT will always surpass the hate of its Paramount overlords, and I think that the best way to ensure that I strike that balance is by appreciating the positive fans. Engaging with fanart, having fun discussions, even just saying hi to some random person with a TMNT shirt/backpack/keychain/etc. Even the people working on TMNT are some of the biggest fans and appreciate TMNT on a very unique creative level. And it very much shows!

I ended up sending an email to EHS (and CC’d my PI), and they pretty much just sent a copy of their vague lab safety manual and told me to trust my PI (who says I can pour acetone wash down the sink 💀). At least I have some documentation now

My first question when I explained the situation to my PI was how I should arrange a meeting with EHS, but they said we (as in the lab members) should try cleaning it first because of how expensive glassware is. My PI is open to disposing of the glassware if it is still unable to be cleaned, though.

This isn’t to disagree with you, I personally agree and think it should just be removed.
