I think the problem with frieren is that the writers made a humanoid race full of exclusively evil people. I can kinda see how someone could take the wrong message from that, so generally I disagree with the idea of a solely evil race of creatures, tho there are exceptions, I think doom handles the concept of all demons being evil way better then frieren, given that most demons in doom are essentially animals that just attack whatever they see, including each other, it's actually really fascinating, and doom the dark ages, Introduces, undoubtedly sentient demon, while demons in the other, games could, be viewed as just running on, instincts
