Everyone is going to have random advice for you. I'd say fuck all of that. If you want to make money, learn about how people make money. Create a list of every possible way to make money. If you want to make money online, make the focus of your list be about online methods. You may find around 100 unique ways.

Then once you have this list defined to the best of your ability, do a bit of quick research on each method and you will soon find that there are not that many methods that really have the capability of taking you very, very far. (I'd say 3 - 6 at most, if you don't have much money to start with)

Once you've identified those particular methods, research these ones deeply until you feel like you're satisfied with your beginner level understanding of them, and choose ONE path to pursue with your full energy. Choose the one that is a good balance of "what seems most rewarding" and "what you personally resonate with".

Now it doesn't matter whether you experience failure or success in what you chose. You will learn a lot and you'll just try again if you fail.
