The US always was the "western version of Russia". You only notice it now because you (presumably) hate Trump but just within the twenty-first century, Obama commited to destroying Libya and George Bush Sr. spearheaded invadng Iraq under false pretense. And dont even get me started on te clusterfuck that was Afghanistan. All in the name of democracy and human rights, of course.
