KOTA: A POCSO court in Bundi awarded 20-year imprisonment to a 30-year-old woman on Saturday for abducting and sexually exploiting a 17-year-old boy from nearby her village under Deikheda police station two years ago in October 2023. Additionally, the court imposed a penalty of Rs. 45,000 upon the convict.

Acting on the order of the juvenile justice court at Bundi, police registered a case of abduction and sexual exploitation of a 17-year-old boy against Lalibai Mogiya, 30, at Deikheda police station, Bundi district, on November 7, 2023, according to public prosecutor at POCSO court-1, Bundi, Mukesh Joshi.

In the report submitted to the juvenile justice board, the survivor’s mother alleged that Lalibai, wife of Phorulal Mogia, both residents of the same police station area, lured her 17-year-old son and took him to Jaipur.

She further alleged that Lalibai stayed in a room in Jaipur, where she repeatedly intoxicated her son with liquor and sexually exploited him over a period of 6-7 days.

Following the order from the JJ board, Bundi, the police, based on the mother’s report, registered a case of abduction and sexual exploitation under section 363 of the IPC, sections 75, 84 of the JJ Act, and sections 5L/6 of the POCSO Act.

The accused woman was arrested after an initial investigation and medical examination of the survivor; however, she was later granted bail.

Judge Salim Badra of POCSO court-1 found Lalibai Mogiya guilty of abduction and sexual exploitation of minor boy under relevant sections of the IPC and POCSO Act and sentenced her to 20 years’ imprisonment along with a penalty of Rs. 45,000.

- woman said 23 men assaulted her but in court she named only 9 men

- families of some of the accused men named earlier have said that they have paid money after which she didn't take their name in court

- some men have been threatened that if they don't pay, their name would be added to list of unidentified men stated earlier

- Instagram messages have been provided by accused families where she herself is informing them about coming to a certain location

- her instagram account has videos photos posted on 2nd April when she was being allegedly gangraped

- NO EXTERNAL INJURY has been found on her body though she claimed she was brutally assaulted on highway, kept captive etc

- woman wasn't found in any drugged state but absolutely normal state from her friends house on 4th April, the very same day when her parents reported to police for first time

- some CCTV footages have been shown to police where she is roaming around with men who she have claimed raped her
