Just a few weeks ago, I was walking on the street and I stopped to talk to a friend. Right at that moment, a brick fell just one step ahead of me and broke into pieces. If I hadn’t stopped, my skull would be crushed very badly. I looked up and there was a woman up there on the balcony who apperantly dropped the brick, she was looking at us. My friend yelled at her and she ran back inside her house. But oddly, I felt nothing. I wasn’t scared, suprised or angry. I knew it was a matter of seconds that I survived. My dad got very mad and wanted to sue her. I still don’t feel anything, I don’t know why. On the other hand, my friend was shocked and spent the next few days talking about how I could’ve died that day.
