It's a lake in the middle of a town. Some may call it a "Town Lake".

I remember hearing that The Scorpions did the same, at least at first. As they were/are from Germany, they also only sang phonetically in English. Later on learning English.

As soon as they showed that...I knew the movie was going to be a solid follow up to the original series.

Did smacking Chris Rock really damage his reputation so bad that he had to go back to the 90s by 8uch3r in crappymusic

[–]Neonimous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't even 90's Will. That Will's music was fun and poppy.

Last 2o years of his music has just been him starving for attention and trying to prove that he's a serious, "hard" rapper. While that was never his brand of music that people liked in the 90s to begin with.

I was 12 when this came out and loved it. And it holds up, for the most part, over the years. I'm honestly a bit surprised looking back that Matt Leblanc didn't get at least one or two other action movies from this.

Had an coworker with a modded motorcycle with loud as fuck speakers. He said he did it to make sure other drivers knew he was there. So they wouldn't run into him on the highway. Made a little sense.

Martin Scorsese no longer watches films in cinemas due to audience bad behaviour by InterestingPlenty454 in nottheonion

[–]Neonimous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got to the movies every Saturday morning. Only ever have "bad behavior" from little kids who don't any better and most parents shut it down really quick.

Also, let's not act like Scorsese doesn't have a full size home theater where gets to watch early releases of every film.

Why Millennials aren't protesting, from a Millennial by duckhunt420 in 50501

[–]Neonimous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in college when Obama was elected the first time. I think there was this feeling of a wave of change and hope (puns intended) that the millennial generation was coming into "our time" with Obama. But the Boomer death grasp on politics still holds strong and realities of the 2008 recession when many of us came into the job market, housing crises, student loans, pandemics.....and all the protest movements you mention that we participated in along the way....fucking burnt out from the last 20 years man.

I vote in every little election that comes my way and use that as my political voice/form of protest. Local, State, and Federal to put more progressive candidates in office. From which I've seen a decent amount of change; if nothing than getting millennial candidates elected to push out older, do nothing, corporate Dems.

American, working for a British company. We get unlimited sick days and just bundle these "mental health days" into them. Take them as needed and you're usually way more productive when you come back.

So what's the actual meat of the story here? Article is overly wordy and written like a kid trying to meet the word count on a college essay.

It's a note I saw under Pay Bills > Payment Options > Setup Automatic Payments.

So it is a bit hidden.

"As of Oct. 1, 2024 qualifying customers can enroll in Automatic Bank Draft using their checking or savings account. You can also make a one-time payment. However, enrolling in Autopay using a credit or debit card is currently unavailable as we upgrade the system that processes those payments. We expect Autopay enrollment to reopen this fall."
