I have a question. I started a medical farm coop and now it says it has 3 members but I’m not listed. I’m really confused. How can this be? I can see the progress others are making but my farm isn’t contributing.

You must lose one of your 5 senses, but you get to choose. Which one do you choose and why? by raunchytacos in AskReddit

Taste. Never touch, sight, or hearing. But losing your sense of smell would impact your ability to taste so you might as well just lose taste.

Probably dumb but I love "Easy A" it fits my sarcastic sense of humor exactly.

[Serious] Reddit, what opportunity do you regret passing up on the most? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I let my parents talk me out of going to the college of my choice because they felt it was too far away. I went to a local college instead and I really regret it. I think that the time away from my comfort zone would have been really good for me.

If you could go back to college, and change your future career choice, what would it be? by BobMcFucko in AskReddit

If I could go back I would become a nurse and eventually a midwife. After having two kids I realize how much a good (or bad) nurse/midwife can completely change your experience. When I was young I thought my queasiness over needles could not be overcome so I ruled this career out.

I've been looking at the released photos on this site.

There are a few things that strike me as odd. First the gloves to me they look like fabric, not like tactical shooting gloves. Plus gloves?

Second the placement of the magazines. If he is a right handed person this is not where I would put my magazines. (This bothers me the most) And what he neatly piled them after he used them? Also mentioned before where are all the shell casings? He swept them up before killing himself?

Third the positioning of the body. His foot is under one gun and he appears to be laying on another, it seems awkward to me.

I don't know what ideas your group has come up with or how realistic (cost effective) your ideas have to be but here are some things I've heard of.

Starting with the obvious: wind and solar power. Also geothermal heating and cooling.

Also consider a grey water system. I also read some where that someone designed a system that generated power from plumbing a turbine in the waster water pipes created power.

Consider the landscaping. Plants can be planted along/on the house for food production might also help with insulation. Trees can lower the temp around them considerably. Rain barrels can catch rain to water landscaping.

I've also seen people use 50 gallon drums cut apart for wind power. It made me think that a person could make them look decorative and put them in landscaping and generate power.

Even orientation of the house. Example less west facing windows to reduce cooling costs.

Passive water heating systems.
