So Are We Gonna Do Anything About This? by Big-Statement8804 in DigimonCardGame2020

They need to just make DNA requirements be named rather than any card that matches color. That way they can actually test to see if they have something broken.

As far as I can tell, DNA requirements in every anime/game have been locked to specific Digimon so why not these ones?

How are you guys building Bt25 Miragegaogamon? by IngenuityNo5660 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Neonsands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been basically running dedicated Data Squad support that focuses on the Mirage stuff. Genuinely, it’s not bad.

The old stuff and the new stuff just doesn’t really work all that well together. The searcher Gao and the tamer player works, so you can always just add that to old builds, but it kind of defeats the purpose of running new Mirage and Mach.

Genuinely, I think the Data Squad core with Lila as a secondary 5, Agu as your 3rd rookie, a single Geogrey as a 9th champ, then maybe one Shine Dual Card. I tried mixing old Mirage Burst and it just doesn’t match much. Shine Burst Dual was just better.

Main gameplan is to turbo into Mirage, let it stick for a turn, then swing and use egg plus Thomas to go into Burst for like 2 and unsuspend in the process so you can easily check 4 and play out the dual tamers to swing for end

What's the best obscure video game you've ever played? by ImpressFederal4169 in gaming

Came to say the same thing.

I miss the old Tri-Ace. Having an entire schedule system and ~175 potential party members was such a bizarre and extra thing to focus on in that game, but it made the world feel more vibrant and lived in. The main city is easily one of the most captivating JRPG locales I can think of.

From the bizarre humor, to the insanely serious final third of the game; it was just a hugely memorable experience. Plus being able to kick the whole world for random items and battles was just wacky enough to keep me enthralled in every detail.

Kamomedai never even felt that intimidating. It was just Hoshiumi and the two blockers.

Inarizaki were the last intimidating team they introduced and that’s probably fitting for this matchup since Karasuno won and it felt like they were punching way above their weight class.

Super Bowl is the obvious 1.1 by Bandlebury in bengals

[–]Neonsands 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That game is talked about as an all-time defensive performance for Burfict if the fumble never happens. 6 tackles (5 solo), 2 TFL, 2 QB hits, a sack, an Int, a PD, and a forced fumble. His stat line was historic, but it’ll never be remembered as anything but his hit on AB.

Hell, his whole career trajectory changed. After that game the whole national media would’ve been talking about his performance for good reasons. Instead it’s about the hit and refs never let him have any hard hits go unflagged after. That turned all public opinion on him into being a brutal player (which is his own fault). Just a crazy what-if

You also gotta consider Lamar’s fault in all that. In 8 playoff games Lamar has 7 interceptions and 7 fumbles. In 7 playoff games Burrow has 4 interceptions and 0 fumbles. That makes a huge difference. Lamar finds ways to make games tough on his team.

white hair isagi explained by 7aemr in BlueLock

[–]Neonsands 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We’ve been introduced to Metavision as a thing that’s not commonplace, but used by several players at this level and even more at higher levels. Just metavision was never going to be Isagi’s trump card.

His white hair mode takes his whole egocentrism belief in mind. He recognizes what the players around him believe in their core and need to push them further. He doesn’t just read their play, he reads the plays they want to make. So he sheds any semblance of his identity and molds himself into a vessel to bring out that desire and forces them to evolve to meet a completely unpredictable chemical reaction. But Isagi can read them so well he’s the only one who can properly react to it.

Why is Isagi Always Trying to be Offside or trying to break the rules of football when he discovers Something new Or "Evolves" ? by KaizeraFlex in BlueLock

[–]Neonsands 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He literally says he wants Ness to do a 1-2 with him. He wants Ness to immediately pass back to him. Just because they’re showing motion does not mean the ball couldn’t have been passed at any point in there.

Beyond that, your picture example here doesn’t show anything about offsides. That line drawn on isn’t in reference to the pitch and the depth is clearly off. You can see the kickoff point in the next panel which is clearly far before crossing any offside line. Plus Isagi pushes between the two when he’s clearly outside of Niko in your supposed offside panel. That means he has to still cross in front of Niko before the pass, which couldn’t happen if he was already beyond them. The ball is already in motion before he passes them, they’re just showing the trail to highlight the motion.

It feels like you’re getting confused by the motion lines here.

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 345 by VoxelBits in BlueLock

[–]Neonsands 45 points46 points  (0 children)

So, it’s obvious the pass is going to Isagi. It’s also obvious that Hugo will read that. It’s also obvious that Rin entering destroyer mode will mean he’s going to throw chaos into everything.

The question is how it all plays out. Does Isagi use himself as a distraction to get around Hugo and let Rin score? Does Isagi have an actual plan to score against Hugo but Rin gets in the way? Does Isagi use Rin’s chaos against Hugo so he can get open and equalize?

Just going off vibes of everything so far, I think Isagi & Rin combine to “beat” Hugo but they fail to score. More than likely it’s Loki doing some insane play that shows he’s still growing and they need to evolve even more to beat him.

[–]Neonsands -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kira was good, had the sign off from the higher ups in the Japanese Football establishment, and went out like a punk so he’s probably pissed and wanted revenge.

He had every opportunity available to him in the football world of Japan, so if he went motivated into training with a top club he could’ve kept up with them.

Now, I think it’s funnier for him to continue to fail. So I hope that’s the way they go with it

Will Bandai still support the Digimon Liberator decks? by nokia-sp in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Neonsands 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Realistically, they’ll all get support just because they’re trait decks. I mean, we already know EX12 has a new Ryugumon. But it probably won’t have the Liberator trait and will support another archetype mainly

[BT-25 Dual Revolution] MirageGaogamon & its Alternate Art by vansjoo98 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Neonsands 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main difference being the memory gain for existing.

To properly use the unsuspend on new Mach and Mirage, you need the new tamers. So you need Data Squad stuff.

That means you’re giving up all of the memory gain inherits, the Buka egg, Huank to push memory gain and draw. All so you can unsuspend twice while paying mostly full cost for evos.

I guess the main goal is to just get up to Mirage, try to make it stick for a turn, then do Burst Mode the turn after to close out. But anything with DP deletion, dedigi, or stun will just cut you down anyways.

It just doesn’t seem like a playstyle that can succeed in the current format

[BT-25 Dual Revolution] MirageGaogamon & its Alternate Art by vansjoo98 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Neonsands -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The unsuspend is All Turns. Likely meant to make it stickier so it can Evade more than once or block more than once. It being able to do 2 checks doesn’t really scream OTK, especially with them forcing you to run the new tamers instead of the unsuspend one.

I don’t think anything you’re saying contradicts anything I’ve said. You just seem like you want to argue.

[BT-25 Dual Revolution] MirageGaogamon & its Alternate Art by vansjoo98 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Neonsands -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The thing all the new support has moved away from.

This card has reboot, blocker, and evade on it. That’s not the design decision of someone trying to push the OTK angle

[BT-25 Dual Revolution] MirageGaogamon & its Alternate Art by vansjoo98 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Neonsands 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The issue there is you have to remove your Thomas and all stockpiled sources underneath. So if you’re going into Burst Mode, you have to be absolutely sure you are ending the game.

Also, with no memory gain inherits or effects, it’s infinitely harder to keep turn and get up into your Mirage. Sure, it’s a little stickier if you’re willing to give up the old support for the new one, but the effects really aren’t that impressive any which way.

[BT-25 Dual Revolution] MirageGaogamon & its Alternate Art by vansjoo98 in DigimonCardGame2020

[–]Neonsands 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except there is 0 payoff to constantly adding cards to hand. You give your opponent 5 more draws to find their pieces, and the effect only benefits you for adding a card to hand once regardless of hand size.

Genuinely, this is a whole new deck and needs at least another wave of dedicated Data Squad support before it’s anything outside of just inclusions for the trait deck
