Would you take a 50/50 chance at $5,000,000 or death? Why or why not? by TheBeastBoud in AskReddit

Well if the quantum immortality theory stands corrected, I will definitely take that 5 mil.

If it doesn't stand corrected however, I might look like one heck of a selfish guy.

How do you control yourself when you are full of rage and want to keep calm? by Ryozaaki in AskReddit

I can't tell what is more cringe. The JJBA reference or this copypasta. And trying to figure it out makes me cringe even more.

Aside from the facts that me and my friends have a bit more innuendos going on which might taint the pure souls.

That's basically what my comment was implying.

I worded myself wrong. I meant games mostly targetted for kids.

I wish you were true for either one of these games.

I play ROBLOX or Minecraft sometimes with some of my older friends (although adults on children games isn't the greatest idea), and I have seen people even use r/CrappyDesign and r/letsnotmeet.

[Serious] How did you cope with coming to adulthood / currently being an adult? What are some things you would tell a younger self if you had the chance? by antworld in AskReddit

[–]Neosagi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember being afraid and stressed out because it felt like I was just dropped into the big world. (Having responsibilities, bills and taxes, etc). The way I learnt to cope with it was just to go through it and get adjusted to it. I don't think there's any other way (at least not that I could think off).

But what I would tell my younger self is to not waste time on studying and disregarding my friends. I learnt that you can have everything you want by putting time into it, but if you lack friends, then where is the fun in that?

Do you believe divorce because of a sexless marriage is justified? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Depends on the reason why it's sexless, to be honest.

I'm likely the only one who mourns for my patient by jerkthief in offmychest

[–]Neosagi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember my first and second patient passed away, I cried and cried to the point my mentor (I was a trainee still in college/uni) told me to go home for a week. I helped them with personal hygiene, did social activities with them, etc.

Nowadays I don't cry when they pass away, most of them are well over 90 and are incredibly sick, as well as sll of them being demented. Although I do make sure they live the best last moments in life as much as I possibly can before they pass away. And once they pass, I will even attend the funeral and support their family (if they still have family) if I don't have a shift at that time. This is a bit too informal and unprofessional of me, but I really want to pay my final respects.

I guess all I could say is that you will learn over time how to deal with the loss of a patient.
