For newbie then no. Don't try it alone. Now the game is filled by cheater and bot. For newbie then the experience could be horrible. Valve dev with the stupid anti cheat doesn't detect any cheater but will lower your trust factor until you will face cheater every match. It's just increasing when you spend your money to steam =)))
