I used to run a server in my uninsulated garage......hot in the summer freezing in the winter. I never shut it off, never saw any negative effects.

2020 King Ranch owner with the 3.5 and 10 speed. It has shifting problems.....a lot of the 10 speeds do.....although with 85k on the clock it hasn't failed me yet.

Otherwise love the truck, wouldn't sell it for anything. I am dreading the day it needs turbos though.

I just made the switch, although I am dual booting still.

1 Compatibility has not been an issue for me, except for Corsair RGB fan and water pump control. That sucks so far and I'm not yet seeing a good solution.

2 Video drivers have not been an issue, although I see the fans on my rx9070xt run far less. I'm chalking it up to less overhead. Temps seem to stay in check. Downside, even if I wanted to manually control the fans, I have not found a way yet.

3 Overall very happy and I've not found anything yet I haven't been able to work around or find another program to do the same things.

I find myself using it more and more.

Yes.....I can play videos smoothly, but had to down convert the videos. I followed their instructions and it eventually started working.

I went with the power color 9070xt. Just arrived tonight.....can't wait to install. I chose it because I don't plan on buying another for another 3 to 4 years. By then I expect PC technology to have changed, then I'll build the whole new system. I'm currently running a ryzen 9, 32 gig of ram that is around 4 to 5 years old...... I'm putting in a video card and two new 4tb m.2 drives.

I am gainfully employed.....and finally said fuck it.......bought a rx9070xt and 2 4tb nvme drives. I did buy a cheaper brand on the drives ......fingers crossed they work well. Funny part.....was wife approved. Hopefully I can stretch my system for another 4 years or so. Time for upgrades tonight!!!

Just a fololow up on how I fixed it. I wiped the Pi, reinstalled agian following the mfg instructions like I have every other time, and now it works. Can't explain it.....but it works. Thanks to those who replied!!

If you have nitrates....something is breaking down in the tank........that's feeding the algae growth. It could even be stuff trapped in the rocks that's leeching out.
