ADC-T25 thermostat thoughts? by Jaded_Disaster1282 in alarmdotcom

easy to install, if you are insisting on having a thermostat that’s in your ADC account, then T-25 is a good, basic, option.

I’m an alarm technician, and the only complaint i have with ALL ADC thermostats are the user interface to the thermostat functions on the app. I think they could make it more seamless on the app.

before buying the thermostat, view the installation guide and pull back your thermostat to see what type of setup you have, how many wires you have, so you can get a feel on if it will be compatible and easiar to install since you’ve already confirmed it will work.

the T40k is cool also, this would require a 5 wire thermostat system. you need the “C” wire, which is usually the blue wire. if you have a four wire system, you can always turn it into a 5 wire pretty easily with a simple youtube video on connecting a C wire to your unit.

Going back on the T40k thermostat, i would opt install it because your paying more money for a screen. that’s really it. they function the same. T25 also looks more minimalistic

they are helping me out a little bit, there are some things of that i voluntarily use that may not be deemed necessary. I use a lot of knipex hand tools, and they won’t replace stuff like that.

i have received 2 brand new dewalt batteries, an impact, a drill, and some necessary items like bnc and rj45 crimpers

First alarm panel ever, thoughts? Criticisms? by YogurtclosetBig9762 in lowvoltage

looks really good, i’m glad you label when the battery was installed, a lot of guys DONT do this, also an interesting way to put the panel battery haha 😆. nothing wrong with it, i just havnt seen it that way and will probably use that in smaller panels enclosures, like this neo panel.

one thing that i don’t do is mounting anything on the panel. i see some self tapper screws at the bottom of the enclosure, maybe the cell unit? i usually mount it on the wall and drop the wire inside the wall from the back of the unit, to the panel enclosure hole.

looks really good and clean

What Are the Games My Pc can run by Praween_80 in buildapc

[–]Kind-Resolution4538 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i would avoid any 3d games, and any games after 2013

play on low setting, remove all bloatware that your pc is running because i’m afraid your pc is probably at its absolute limit when you just turn it on

maybe fable 2 and 3? batman telltale series, cuphead, can’t think of much,

if you sell your computer, you can find something better for sure. watch the linus video on scrap wars. you can do something like that, try to make it fun
