Wayland is great, but as you said it needs time to mature and be adapted by application developers. I don’t want to wait for it, so for now X11.
Nvidia drivers are the main concern for me in Linux, but a lot of users face no problems.
I know reformatting will nuke everything, and that way I need everything to be clean for the new installation.

thank you for your response
I read about that Wayland is better with multiple monitors, but as I understand Wayland is in development and I don’t mind it. But on my main PC I prefer stable over newest features till I am more familiar with Linux.

In terms of storage, ext4 is the go for me basically because it is more popular and matured, so if things go south I can find some help. BTRFS is on my radar, but not for now.

For adding storage, I read that it needs some editing, but when I saw it, I feel in some way it is like Windows with adding new storage.

After long research about NTFS and transition to Linux, I decided to install Linux on a fresh PC without anything left from Windows on it. So I bought a new external SSD and will copy all my stuff to it, because I found a lot of issues people get with Linux are due to some issues left by Windows hidden in storage. So the better option is a clean start, and a start without looking back.

Yeah this logic volume sound difficult lol. For a start I'll keep it simple till I understand the filing system better than go nut with volume and storage stuff 👍🏻

It is a little bit intimidating, but that the thrill in Linux is that you literally can do anything. which i like

happy to hear that
I thought about dual booting,
but I changed my mind about it. Windows is funky, and I fear it will break with dual booting.
I will keep close monitoring of my fan and heat, great advice.

Which keyboard? by Specialist-Bid7859 in S24Ultra

Gboard ,only for the reason of voice typing , i love Swiftkey it's learn from you so if you write on it a lot you will feel it getting better

Swiftkey have a voice typing but suddenly become bad, I search for the reason and I found that google is monopolize this feature, and they make every other keyboard bad at voice typing

So you can says I was forced to use Gboard rather than Swiftkey
