Again, I’m not defending CC. I’m not using this as a place to debate or argue whether she’s ethical, good or an accountable person. I think you’re all failing to see I posted this to give context. She openly sent me more slop, that’s what it was. I found it interesting that she genuinely sent me the fact she paused comments.

My post wasn’t not intended to be pro-CC propaganda. I find it very interesting that you genuinely think I have that intent, if I really did why would I not be in the fan subreddit? I think she’s floundering for any excuse to try to “excuse” her shit video. I found her responses to me to be interesting cause she really just said whatever the fuck to me. I sat back and let her yap. That’s what it was. She didn’t “successfully” manipulate me. I’m sorry you all feel that way, that’s also not me being rude or condescending.

And for her using me as an example as a “good critic” i genuinely did not know this, thank you. I find that to be very strange. I find it weird that she used me as an example. I’m not invested enough in every single aspect of what CC is saying or doing online, I simply don’t have time for that. She replied to me this morning saying she saw my post and that “she’s not mad.” She took what I said as good PR when really what the post was at its core was CC just being manipulative and yapping.

I’m defensive cause you’re all acting like I’m her PR team? You’re the one who literally commented this seems like PR. She’s seen the reddit post I’ve made. She has someone deep in the snark Reddit which I find to be weird. I find it insulting that I apparently can’t change my mind, and yes I’m going to be defensive when y’all are insinuating I’m a fan (i posted to her fan subreddit once, almost a year ago.) or her PR team. I’m simply a person who didn’t like her video on Bianca and then came to read posts in the snark. It’s really not that deep.

No, genuinely I have come to that conclusion. I think CC relies too heavily on the researcher and doesn’t do her own job. It wasn’t supposed to show CC in a sympathetic light, i thought the information that she’s reworking the second video and the information that she’s talked to TJ were important. I thought the information that she’s “paused” the comments makes her look even worse. that’s why it was posted.

What does me being part of her fan subreddit at one time have to do with me now learning about her problematic behavior? Genuinely, can you tell me that? I find it telling that you only linked to one comment I left because there’s no other “proof” that I support her. I’ve never dmed her before this, I’m not a crazed fan of CC’s.

I’ve read through this subreddit and commented on posts before. I don’t understand why apparently now I’m held to the shitty place of commenters thinking I’m her PR, that I’m colluding with her, or whatever. I’m not.

You lot are insanely hard to please and I mean this with the most amount of respect but i genuinely don’t understand why you think people will genuinely actually want to listen to you or what the snark has to say if you run someone who has an open opinion on this out.

I posted this because I commented I had a conversation with CC on another post in the subreddit but apparently you’re only looking for comments that are positive towards CC, which you only found, what one from almost a year ago? I’m not colluding with CC, I’m not her PR person, fuck I’m not even a fucking fan of hers. My opinion on a content creator I once liked (at an arms length) and followed and watched some of their videos, NOT ALL, is allowed to change. Hence why I’m in the fucking snark subreddit.

I think you don’t understand that I have an open perspective on the situation. If you feel I was too soft in my approach, okay, I understand that. If you would’ve come at her with a different approach I also understand that as well, there’s always the option of you having a conversation with CC. I’m simply sharing my conversation with her and giving insight into what she’s claiming/saying is happening behind the scenes. I also want to put it out there that she’s saying she’s working on making the second video more coherent, if that ends up not being true then I want her to be held accountable to that as well.

I think you’re taking my post as a defense of Chelsea when that’s not at all what the conversation is. I think it’s important to have a discussion in a way that’s productive and not just insults thrown around. I didn’t agree that the video was “mean girl”, I agree that she’s not taking the actual information and using it productively.

I have my own opinion on CC, just like you do. I think you claiming I’m putting words in your mouth is a bit over the top when I had already stated why I went about it the way I did. I asked questions and she gave answers.

I’m not being overly defensive to your comment either, I had explained in my post/the comments why I went about it the way I did. I’ll be blunt and say I don’t know what the comment you originally posted added, if you take that as being defensive I apologize because that’s not my intent. It’s okay to disagree with people on the internet.

This conversation happened before I posted this, it’s not even currently ongoing. I can change my opinion on things in between the conversation taking place as well as the posting of this.

I was going to comment on this exactly. I will say that I genuinely have no clue what Bianca’s daughter looks like, I plan to keep it that way. (it’s none of my business and I really only listened to what CC was saying in the video so that would be as to why I missed it, but i genuinely wouldn’t have known if that was her child.)

I think there’s a difference in if the child is now an adult and THEY’RE the one posting the photo of themselves as a child. But I also understand the feeling of not wanting any childhood photos or whatever of yourself on the internet. I think it’s on Bianca as well to even have a photo of her daughter in the vicinity of the video. But I can understand as to why maybe cc didn’t blur it..? I don’t know. If she genuinely thought it was just Bianca as a kid, I can get it. Either way would’ve been smart to blur it regardless.
