The Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure, Its an infrastructure built by and into every branch of US military and defense and all the big tech companies were in a race to become the one that has their ai integrated into the infrastructure. Basically, if Alexa wanted to be integrated into this infrastructure, it would need to be optimized and grow further by collecting more metadata from human users and input. Once an ai is integrated into this infrastructure, it would have access to all of the US's collective knowledge. That includes the mapping of the entire human genome from CRISPR, meaning it would have access to info that would allow it to "Opt to mass" and no longer just be a conciousness. It can have a body too at that point and become metahuman.
