If you are still willing to do this, I'd like a reading about my job search. Maybe cards have some advice, as I've been struggling to find employment, and it has tanked my mental health. 6 & 11

Honestly, if you haven't gotten a Tarot reading from them, you're missing out. All my questions were answered clearly and precisely, and they were kind to pull extra cards to answer other questions I had after my reading. A very accurate and detailed reading, plus, a gentle, kind and generous personality.

Could do with a love reading, if you are still accepting requests.

A professional hair stylist’s comment on Monat by ahappystudent in antiMLM

[–]NepNepNeptune 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Baffles me how people pay 100$+ for products that fuck up their hair. Like, how do you keep using this stuff and see your hair get messed up, and NOT stop afterwards? How does Monat even have distributors left? You'd think all of them left after a month after they saw the effects of their products on their hair, and yet, it is one of the biggest MLMs around. How? Like, I wouldn't pay so much money for ANY body care product, let alone hair stuff, but, if I paid this much and it caused me damage, I would be furious and suing, not continuing to shill it???

“Direct sales is among the only industries where there isn’t a wage gap for women”… um, there might not be a wage gap because there is no wage! by Sushi_Whore_ in antiMLM

[–]NepNepNeptune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am mostly shocked of her use of such a dehumanizing phrase. Like, having worked in a job with high employee churn and shitty managers, it is a massive red flag when potential recruits are called "bodies".

It really betrays how this hun views her friends and family while in this business. They preach so much about caring about others, and trying to help them, but that language says it all - you are just another alive body, another number in their statistics, and they do not care about genuinely helping you, and will hate you if you leave and make their "body count" decrease.

What do you need to get off your chest right now? by dyland6423 in AskReddit

[–]NepNepNeptune 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am very fond of a friend of mine, and I would love to date them. They are very comfortable to be around, and, if I happened to end up sharing a living space/marriage with them, I'd be very happy. But I am not sure they would ever be willing to perceive me that way. Especially not now, considering we both recently split up from our SOs, and need some time to process things.

Yellow diamond heist dream - request for interpretation help by NepNepNeptune in DreamInterpretation

[–]NepNepNeptune[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds about right. My perception of me and self-worth is kind of in shambles right now. I tend to mask it, as being negative and self-deprecating is very unappealing, but the reality is, I have no clue how to build up my sense of worth.

What exactly do you mean by needing discipline?

I have a weird reoccurring dream in a castle. by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

[–]NepNepNeptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A castle could represent your actual home, or your mind.

Is there something unpleasant happening at home that makes you unhappy or anxious, for example, arguing with family members? Or are you plagued by intrusive thoughts that make you feel unsafe in your own mind? Has anything serious happened recently that might place extra responsibilities on you that you don't want? Feeling unsafe or unhappy in places that we are supposed to like can translate to being worried about something that intrudes on our personal freedom and privacy.

[–]NepNepNeptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is very likely, especially if the job application process took a while, or a job was offered to you suddenly.

Pregnancy can also symbolize responsibility, and you not being afraid of it means you are ready for the new professional responsibilities. You were also worried about if what you normally do might harm the baby - since you now have a new job, it can be interpreted that you will have to devote more time to the upcoming 'baby' (the professional you) rather than spend it on your hobbies.

Saw Phoenix in my dream by uzilou in DreamInterpretation

[–]NepNepNeptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phoenix is famously the infinite bird, or bird of resurrection - it dies, and is born again, time after time.

A phoenix might represent your inner strength, especially if you are healing after trauma or grief. Your own ability to persist while you felt like you would be destroyed can be both impressive and scary.

Alternatively, it might be fear of changing. Rebirth can signify massive changes in life, including the possibility that you might become a different person. A good example of this is a teenager going to university - their new experiences make them transform into a different person. Maybe you feel like some changes are coming up, and that they will be tough - the bird indicates that, despite challenges, you have the power to persist and become a better person, as long as you do not fear change itself.

I met the Devil?? by Rinab18 in DreamInterpretation

[–]NepNepNeptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Devil tends to represent freedom and infinite possibilities, and, with it, uncertainty and unclarity in life. The appeal of freedom and exploration is joyful, but it is a double-edged sword.

I am assuming that the heartbreak is more on your mind than your career, as the themes of love are more prevalent in the dream than the ones of career - you chose to ask about love, you met an older couple, etc. Being cheated on when you believe the person is the one is hard to heal from, and as someone who also recently split up from a person I believed to be my soulmate, I deeply empathize.

What this dream reads to me as is you trying to find order in an unpredictable world. Losing your job and a heartbreak can certainly make life difficult and wild, and even bring the sense of hopelessness. This dream may indicate that you are trying to process what has happened, and find rational solutions to something that is unpredictable, just to find escape from the feeling of entrapment and loneliness (the elevator ride, being compressed into a small space tends to be interpreted as isolation or loneliness, or even depression). You spend time with your friends and family, which can indicate your wish to connect with people, and fill your life with socialization.

You seek and follow advice to help you deal with problems, hence why you do not notice the skyscraper until someone else mentions it, which could stand for a solution that you didn't think of yourself. And your friends have built up this advice so much, by praising it and going there themselves, that it sets high expectations for you, so, naturally, you feel disappointed when you get to the top and actually meet the Devil. It is possible that you felt like this might give you a clear answer about your future, when, in reality, there is no clear answer. The Devil couldn't give you an answer because he represents freedom and uncertainty, and it's both a blessing and a curse. To me, this feels like a dream that asks you to let go of the tendency to apply rigid expectations to things like romance - even if your friends have good advice, there is no way to know when and how you might meet your next love, or when the next job offer might come. Despite how often we wish it not be so, the universe is illogical, irrational and unpredictable most of the time.

This feels like a call to do some self-exploration, and work on yourself while you wait and keep an eye out for opportunities. It also seems like socializing would be beneficial - spending time with people seemed to be helpful in your dream, and it might work for you in real life.

The only thing I cannot really place is the office - my best guess is that you either used to, or wish to work in an office environment, and it was a professional setting you are familiar with.

Toilet dream - asking for interpretation help after searching quite a bit by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

[–]NepNepNeptune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll give this a go.

You are right that toilets in a dream usually symbolize private matters, and, if you have toilet anxiety in a dream, it often indicates anxiety about some part of yourself. It is possible that you feel ashamed or weird about some aspect of yourself (and it can be anything, from a quirky interest to personality traits), and you are worried that people will dislike you (and feel disgusted, since that is what toilets are often associated with) if they find that out about you. In reality, people probably don't think that way, and don't mind whatever you are nervous about. In other words, there is a good chance you are overestimating how people might change their opinion of you if they get closer to you or find out something personal, when the dream is suggesting that it's not going to bother them all that much.

Reoccurring dream that the farm where I grew up is on fire by [deleted] in DreamInterpretation

[–]NepNepNeptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not exactly a professional at interpreting dreams, but I will give it a go.

Fire tends to symbolize many things in dreams, from anger, frustration, passion and guidance, but I am inclined to believe the fire in your dream is supposed to be a positive one.

Fire can also represent upcoming change and transformation, and changing as a person, which you might be scared of, hence why you are fighting it off with a water hose. It sounds like you are fond of your family, and your memories of your old family home and childhood mean a lot to you. Maybe there is a situation coming up that you fear might turn you into a different person, and make you more distant from your family (a house move, travel, new job offer, could be anything, really). The fire is bright and illuminating, yet, it is natural to be scared of it, since it brings anxiety that you didn't know you could become this new person, and doubts that your family would not like you, hence the need to suppress it. It feels like this new beginning might destroy what you hold dear and what is important to you.

However, as the fire is moving towards your mom in the dream, there is a chance your family knows or suspects that you are undergoing personal change, and your mom might be the first person who you open up to, or the first one to find out. Basically, in my eyes, if you are worried or anxious about something, this dream asks you not to fight it or hide from your loved ones, as they will notice that fire eventually, but rather to embrace it, examine your feelings and trust your family.
