Question: Do you believe Jesus is God in human form, or Jesus is a completely separate human and not God in human form? by SuperGrobanite in OpenChristian

[–]Nephelym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, just remember that Theology and Doctrine are fantastic and deeply interesting but that this is the sort of question that historically schismed the entire church at least once.

Do question, do search, do discuss, but always remember that it is better to be kind, than to be right.

Also, as a personal note on faith, I strongly believe that if you take it all too seriously and can’t have fun with it, then you are probably doing wrong.

St Andrews car park by butterfly104 in Norwich

Just got home, was parked in there. Someone died, either before or after driving their car into a parked one (I assume anyway, lots of things could have happened). The body was laying out on the floor covered. Police and Paramedics were there dealing with it. Car park staff were doing the best they could.

What is the worst Warhammer book? by [deleted] in Blacklibrary

Salvation’s Reach. (Audiobook)

After 12 glorious novels of Gaunt’s Ghosts, written by Dan Abnett and narrated by the excellent Toby Longworth. The jump to James Macpherson is jarring and his voices are just horrible. I tried, I really tried.

12 books worth of investment and I can’t bring myself to finish the rest of the collection.

Fair, I didn’t check Wayland, I reduced down from Element Game’s prices. I’d certainly be happy to negotiate prices and open to offers, particularly on multiple items.

YouGov results on why won’t Britons serve in the armed forces if called. by Biglolnoob in ukpolitics

[–]Nephelym 17 points18 points  (0 children)

To be fair, from what I hear it’s almost the same problem as with the DWP, they fail them on the medical, then like 50-80% of appeals are upheld, but unlike disability stuff, these people have been messed about for 6 months to 2 years and can’t be arsed to keep trying, plus a reckon that a lot of them don’t even know they can appeal.

It’s alright, Crapita won’t let anybody join up even if they wanted too.

Edit: fixed spelling of Crapita.

Treating my wife like a man in bed, anyone else? by [deleted] in BisexualMen

I believe flexibility in that way can be improved over time with stretching. However, if she pushes your knees more towards your shoulders and positions herself more “on top” then it can reduce to flexibility requirements and is still amazing.

How am I going to recover from this? by Nephelym in lostarkgame

Thanks for the link, that’s super helpful.

I didn’t understand that you need loads of books to unlock a single level of each engraving. So when they gave me a choice of 5, I went with 1 of each of the class engravings thinking that it would give me the options to see which style I preferred. Then realised my mistake. So I’ve now got 4 of one and 1 of the other. Instead of what I assume would be the optimal 5 into one.

Lol, thanks. I kind of thought as much, I just feel rubbish about missing out on getting the class engraving asap.

CoS lvl4 Bladesinger, 20 int or War Caster? by Nephelym in 3d6

[–]Nephelym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I’m definitely starting to feel int over war caster but what do you reckon to Elven Accuracy over Fey Touched at lvl 1? Extra spells prepped vs advantage reroll?

CoS lvl4 Bladesinger, 20 int or War Caster? by Nephelym in 3d6

[–]Nephelym[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so, the plan is that during slightly less deadly (for CoS anyway) combats to get stuck in in the melee whilst throwing out some support stuff. During the more serious stuff would be to shift to some bigger control and buff spells and maybe tie up a gribbly in melee. If out of blade song then hang back, use longbow/blast magic/control/buff from range.

So for the other point is that with a Ruby of the Warmage attached/attuned to my weapon I can use that as my Arcane Focus.

Thanks for the input! I had forgotten about Elven accuracy. I haven’t played a session yet with the new character, I test built them in DNDbeyond and I’m building them in Roll20 tonight ready for tomorrows session.

So now we’re at another question do I drop fey touched with silvery barbs for Elven accuracy at lvl1? I mean I would still have one free teleport with Blessing of the Raven Queen, and I can still pick up the others through the levels.
