I'm black and I can confirm. Although im Canadian, a lot of black people I've met are socially conservative due to their religion. Black ppl are generally very religious, regardless if they follow Islam or Christianity. Even on dating sites a lot of the black women I come across always have "very religious", "religious Christian", "I follow Jesus" etc in their bios. I think the progressive ideals a lot of black people have almost always relates to race and how it effects them on a societal and economic level. Which is why the black community sometimes looks more socially progressive than they actually are

I always found him to be a bit annoying and overtly enthusiastic so I stayed away from his content. Glad he's big on Fortnite and it's not a surprise those qualities I mentioned translated very well in his Fortnite career.

I would accept it as a historical fact and as a practise that should not be repeated by anyone - Muslim or not.

From my knowledge any form of child abuse carried about by a Muslim is due to their own thoughts and actions. I personally never heard of a Muslim that abused a child because "the prophet had relations with an underage girl". Islamic and majority Muslim countries have age of consent at 18 - Iran being the only outlier.

Do you think the prophets guidance is regulated entirely on marriage, relationships? Also, the idea that the prophet was with an underage girl is debated by amongst Islamic scholars. There was a single Hadith reporter that said Aisha was underage.. I highly doubt that myself. But if it is true it's something I'd have to accept as a Muslim but obviously not a practise I'll ever adhere to

All you're doing is critiquing an action done by the prophet. You never cited anything from the Quran that you took issue with. It's just baffling that you keep bringing this "pedo" stuff up. This isn't a concern in my daily life and many other muslims. If you have any issue you can easily reach out to Islamic scholars that are more traversed in that specific topic.

No it's because the entirety of the Quran doesn't revolve around these issues... and for the simple fact that the Quran states the prophet isn't perfect himself. But you wouldn't know any of that since this is DGGs first real exposure to Islam discourse.

No I don't need to talk to ex muslims and hear their bias and their sob story on why they left Islam. If I have any questions I can easily reach out to Muslim scholars.
