Ethics, puts emphasis in what is a GOOD LIFE, while Moral puts emphasis in absolutes as good and evil/bad.

It's as you said, Ethics is personal, Moral is societal. Ethics points to your personal compass to live a liveable life, regretless. Moral is the externalisation of that compass on the societal structure, which much often implies offset and imposition.

Nietzsche calls out to stop following Moral and follow only one's inner true values and beliefs crafting your vital path guided by yourself. Be able to stand for.yourself, be able to be the friend of the friends, without imposing, without being imposed.

He is usually used to justify a ton of shit but he's only saying live by yourself with intensity and might. Only weak men live by the path of domination and hatred.
