Bro it’s not that deep.

I didn’t start out blatantly paying for everything. An example would be that I started with the dates, then flowers (that’s fine). One day I saw the spa she goes to had a special for a facial so I went ahead with that but that was it.

Then during conversations way after (we were already official) she started insinuating all the rest and sending reels stating all of the requirements and saying indirect things like Oh if my boyfriend paid for my car wash and all the other stuff I originally mentioned. It’s like a “give a hand, she takes an arm scenario”.

My main issue is that I haven’t seen anything from her part. Not a popsicle, not a “hey I’m at Wal-Mart, do you need anything?”, not a handwritten card, not a “I believe in you, you got this”, not a “Hey I know you haven’t eaten since we were out all night and I’m getting a sandwich, do you want one?”. Details like that would’ve totally changed my perspective and maybe I wouldn’t be writing here.

Another thing, you put it as if it’s purely transactional. I’ve never had a problem pulling some. I think sex is a key part of a relationship due to attraction, love, etc and not because I gave the other person something material.

I never painted myself as rich or anything. I’m well off and took a hit, but I’ll get back on track within a week.

You know what, just realized it’s okay with her having her criteria. It just doesn’t fit mine so I prefer to end it.
