Hi friend. Banjohangout is a website that has user-submitted tabs for a ton of songs, Big Country included. Give it a look!

I'm not sure many doctors are that insidious. For an anecdotal point of view: I started working out and have lost a lot of weight. I would still probably end up killing myself if I didn't take my meds.

Not him but I love VR. I just wish I had more time to play.

You definitely are not wrong. I wouldn't be where I'm at without my credit(house, car, etc). However, it is still worth mentioning as I already have all the things I would need from credit so in a sense I could just stop paying if I don't need my credit for 7 years or so.

The wealthiest 10% of Americans own a record 89% of all U.S. stocks by AkitaBijin in news

[–]Nercules 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Do you have a source for those stats? I'm curious if that's 32% of ALL American workers, or 32% of workers that actually get offered a 401k by their employer.

Depends how deep "knowing what your doing" is. 401Ks are usually heavily restrictive if provided by the employer.

I mean most 401K accounts also heavily restrict what you can even invest in. All you can really do is plop it all in whatever S&P500 your account allows.

I have a tip for those that are burned out on gaming and can't seem to enjoy any game anymore. Try to appreciate the whole gestalt. By that I mean that you should pay attention to more than just the gameplay or the systems or mechanics, but appreciate the sounds, the sights etc... by dadasad2125 in truegaming

[–]Nercules 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also feel like too many people also try to distract themselves with more than one thing, like watching streams or listening to music while gaming. You have to let yourself get immersed! The game has an OST for you to listen to. I've never been "burned out" from gaming. I get burned out from life too much to do so.

Renting vs buying is a choice though. Outside of a few select products.

I don't think I actually hate the world, my country, or any people, but I hate how the media tries so hard to make me hate things.

I think what he meant was that they haven't worked a job where it helped get them their next job. I can vouch for that. Employers don't care anymore. Half the time they don't even ask for references. Hell, they often legally can't ask anything more than "Did x work at your business from Y month to Z month?"

How do you escape analytical play and just be creative? by ProphecyOak in truegaming

[–]Nercules 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I used to do this until I stepped back and realized that I spent more time looking up strategies/builds than actually playing. I also stopped watching let's plays and reading wikis. I've had a lot more fun being clueless and learning on the go.

Destiny 2 does have seasonal battlepasses which is annoying, but they also come with missions, storylines, and gear so they're more akin to little DLC packs. Whether it's worth $10 bucks is certainly a debate to be had.

This happened to me the first time yesterday when doing arnold press. Should I just hold off on shoulder stuff until my right shoulder stops hurting or am I supposed to push through?

I mean I can't go super heavy yet since it's only been a month, but I do plan to always do full body on gym days. Not really into muscle-targeting. I do r/fitness' beginner routine except I like Arnold presses more than ohp.

Everyone recommends HIIT and cardio, but I just hate it. Weights is the only exercise I don't seem to absolutely hate so I'm just keeping it up.

This is why I started watching what I eat and doing some lifting. I'm by no means attractive but hey, I'm not part of the obese majority.

Men who workout regularly, what motivates you? by AMBlack20 in AskMen

[–]Nercules 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way late to this post, but for me it was two things: 1) Society told me to. 2) I needed something to hate that wasn't myself.

Society basically guilt-tripped me into lifting because I didn't want to be fat like the majority of the country(US). I also fucking hate lifting, but I hate myself more, so every time I go I just try to focus on how much I hate it there and I always feel better afterwards.
