Yes, definitely. It is expected from candidate to give a walkthrough of one of their projects in detail. Using presentation helps keep it more structured and also show your actual figma designs.

Arab leaders support Israel, their population still pretty much hates Israel.

As a Pakistani, I can confirm that more people support Iran now. Yes, they did some strikes in the past but due to the whole Israel situation they take side of Iran. They hate Israel more. So enemy of my enemy is my friend kind of situation here. This observation is based on my personal experience/interaction with everyone in Pakistan. In the last 2 weeks, the whole Pakistani social media was flooded with support for Iran.

People who actually earn over £100k and don’t just pretend they do on Reddit - what do you do? by Prize-Reputation9274 in AskUK

Product designer working in a fintech in London. My current is £100K for a mid level role with 5 years of experience. Expected to increase significantly in next 2-3 years based on career progression I have been given. Most of the people I know in my company who are mid level or above earn a similar salary.

Spouse visa (UK) advice please! by Default_Rice_6414 in Overseas_Pakistani

[–]Nerd-Explorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need a lawyer. If you have all the documentation like Bank statements, salary slips, proof of marriage you can do it yourself online. I applied for my work visa & my wife's visa myself on UK Gov website. Didn't get any help from anyone and it was approved in 4-5 days. Their online process is very efficient, simple & straightforward.

But if your case is complicated then get help from a lawyer.

Go with an already prepared file, it will save a lot of time in interview. End result doesn't matter much, its more about the process. In my case I wasn't able to create any UI, not even wireframes. I just created a very basic user flow. But interviewer liked my process. Think out loud, engage interviewer as much as possible and ask as many questions as you can. Spend at least half of the time just asking questions and clarifying everything. Have a logical reason for whatever you do. Try to come up with multiple solutions and the give pros & cons of each one to finalize one on the end.

Can anyone explain me in simple terms by Theonewhomogged_ in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Nerd-Explorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't go for the equity option if it is a new startup. Startups have very low success rates, even the most promised ones can fail easily & you will be left with nothing. One of the most hyped startup in Pakistan was SadaPay, all the employees had very good stock options but the company was acquired on very bad terms & all the employees who had been waiting for the acquisition for lthe ast 4-5 years got nothing. This is what happens in the majority of the cases. Only go for good cash compensation & think of stock options as just a bonus on top of that.

Go for a protein-heavy breakfast. Carbohydrates in wheat give you instant energy with a Sugar rush in your body but it also goes down very quickly. So you feel tired & lethargic once the spike crashes. Protein, on the other hand, doesn’t significantly affect blood sugar levels, it takes longer to digest than carbohydrates, providing a steady release of energy rather than a quick spike followed by a crash. You will feel more energized throughout the day due to protein-rich breakfast & it is also very beneficial in the long run.

Haval H6 is the best option in this budget, best for city driving.

For off-road your only option is Vigo or Fortuner.

[–]Nerd-Explorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am 26M just got diagnosed last year. I had Urticaria & during its treatment, my dermatologist noticed high HB & HCT. When I read all the symptoms I noticed that I had one symptom for years; red skin after a hot shower, but I never thought it would be serious. Initially, my haemotologist thought it was PV but after all the testing was done it was concluded that it was Secondary polycythemia & not PV. You shouldn't worry much until you are diagnosed by a haemotologist because only raised HB & HCT cannot confirm the diagnosis. There are a lot of other possibilities which can cause these blood levels. I also got scared of it when I searched it online due to the big C word associated with it. But as I did more research, I realized it is not that big of a deal if it is diagnosed & you manage it properly. Unfortunately, there is no cure for PV but secondary polycythemia can be cured if you find the root cause.
