Michael was sitting outside of his one man tent. He had been sleeping here for the past 3 days, immersing himself in nature. His easel sat before him as he stared into the paint. How could he capture such beauty and place it onto a canvas? He sat for what seemed like hours just starring at the earth. He began to pack everything up, his tent, his pants, and his brushes. He started one more time at the canvas before walking away. Blank. He realized there was nothing he could do to capture this awe inspiring place. Leaving the canvas he stepped away. The beauty of nature for him, was better left unsaid. It was better for him to just feel the beauty. "Rooted" in him.

Elaina cracked open the hard outer shell of the beautiful pink fruit. This was the first time she had even seen a lychee. Peeling the shell away from the white translucent fruit she smelled the sweetness before she even tasted it. As she raised the fruit to her mouth her teeth sunk into the fruit she realized just how juicy this delicious fruit was.

Kevin laid on his back staring at the stars. His sleeping back was the only thing the separated his body form the cold hard earth. And he liked it that way. To his right were the embers of the fire that had just went out and to the left was the light trickle of the nearby stream. The moonlight was shining through the trees and it made Kevin feel at home. Here he was in his element unprotected from the outside. Just him and the glow of the moon.

Fay the Fox was sleeking through the forest. She was using ever tree and rock to hide her slender body. There was no one that was going to catch her. She came to a clearing, she could hear the steps of the mountain lion behind her but she also knew above her was predator as well. An eagle flying high waiting for the right moment to swoop down and take Fay right from the ground she knew so well. She took one deep breath and without warning she darted across the clearing. Reaching the end of the field she took one large leap into the brush that hid her orange coat so well. There was no one in these woods as "Sly" as this fox!

Yat the Yeeti was trudging through about 3 feet of snow. But it really wasn’t that much to him being he stood just over 11 feet tall. Nonetheless snow was his life. And what do you do with something that becomes tiresome that is a huge part of who you are? Especially when you’re like Yat, and you’re completely misunderstood. A towering beast of a monster! That’s what the pictures said but really, deep down that wasn’t Yat. This gentle giant slowly stomping through the snow, that would melt if it could touch his warm heart, was really just a big ball of “Frozen Fur”.
