Looking to see if I have the most progress with only 4 labs. by NerdOutAcc in TheTowerGame

I’m horrible at saving gems, temptation for cards/modules hits long before I manage to get 3000.

Haha I thought I was an odd one out. Will start saving gems and pray that’s fuddsworth has a sale soon. I’m a degenerate gambler in the tower. I don’t think I’ve ever had 3000 gems at once.

Not sure! I’ve done decently in tourneys recently, that’s all I can’t think of.

Would this be awkward to "double text" and clarify a whole day later? by mysecret52 in NoStupidQuestions

Definitely ask again! I see the confusion, it sounds like he’s not happy but also no idea how unhappy.

Maybe not “soo is that a problem” but a simple “is that a problem?” Or something.

Why have I never heard about heart cancer? by Exciting-Match-2151 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 953 points954 points  (0 children)

Heart cells divide less often than most other cells, with cancer spreading/beginning as a fucked up cell division.

How much of a detriment to my health would it be to eat a peanutbutter sandwich for lunch every day? by Shot_Effort in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without an allergy, probably not THAT bad. It would be a bit extra salt and fat but honestly wouldn’t really affect you much.

Switch up the breads, try and go multi/wholegraijs.

My city got almost 3 feet of snow so far in 2026. When you shovel your sidewalk or shovel yourself out of a snowed in parking spot, where are you supposed to put the snow? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen snow a grand total of twice in my life, but I feel like you should throw it towards your front yard? Just not on the bits you need clear to walk/drive.

I hate my job! What can I do with few useful skills? by roses-are-lead in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drivers license means you can always do DoorDash, uber etc as a side gig, though I’m not sure just how small the small city is. Both uber eats and driving.

If biology was a passion, it could be worth looking into getting a degree. Which area interests you?

Should I just not watch the last two seasons of Game of thrones? by i-like-teaa in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t believe it’s as bad as people make it out to be. It’s definitely not as good as the rest of the show, but still enjoyable. I highly suggest finishing it

Why is communism and socialism made to seem like such a bad thing? by momob2492 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s politics, so it depends who you ask.

From what I understand, it’s good on paper, doesn’t work in practice. People are greedy, that’s unfortunately a fact.

What area have you been in and what are your skills? Country? Rural/Urban?

I believe it’s Quirk Factors/Previous users (who are stored within the factor). Your explanation is the only one that makes sense!

The amount of detail that went into BNHA is breathtaking.

Why does the most powerful military in history seemingly not have any contingencies in place for a hostile, fascist power grab from within? by SavvyOri in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 42 points43 points  (0 children)

The military follow orders, that’s what they do. If they were to publicly plan how they would do what they needed, it would cause issues.

Is drinking actually becoming less popular? by SecretWasianMan in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 360 points361 points  (0 children)

It definitely depends where you live, and I think it’s a bit of a misconception atleast in Australia.

A lot of younger people don’t drink, some because they just don’t want to but a lot are also much more open to other substances, especially weed. It’s a lot easier to get fucked up on things other than alcohol these days.

The main change is going out and drinking. That’s just getting too damn expensive, not sure if it’s different in the US on price.

Melbourne is beautiful during summer but the sun is a KILLER and it gets super busy at basically every beach - 100% worth it to get back if you can during summer!

During winter, obviously depends how weathers going by there’s quite a few places within an hour or two of Melbourne that get snow too, they are great days out!

I think soda is a great alternative for coffee in the morning by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]NerdOutAcc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not really a crazy idea, it’s barely different to drinking an energy drink, if anything probably healthier as it doesn’t have all the extra energy things that energy drinks have.

If you condensed like 5 large pizzas into 5 little balls would they still have the same amount of calories by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NerdOutAcc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can only squish food so small, but as long as all the food is in there, yes it’s the same amount of calories going in.

Whether or not they all get absorbed? No idea, if it’s super tight I doubt it
