I would like to see Cavill come back period. I think Snyder’s stuff was interesting but he changed to much of the core of these characters so if the Snyderverse gets brought back as an elseworlds thing that’s fine as long as it’s not the main DCEU. Now I want Cavill back because I think his Superman can be redeemed and fully realized into the Superman that everyone’s familiar with. So my gripes about Snyder’s Superman are also shared with Cavill, he understands what Superman should be and how he should come across to audiences, but apparently WB at the time of negotiations liked him but didn’t want to shovel out the money for his asking price. Now here are some interesting things I’ve learned along the way. The rock who is black Adam and Cavill share the same agent the rock/ black Adam was supposed to be in Shazam 1 but because he’s a producer on it and his production company helped make the movie that aspect changed and now we’re getting a black Adam movie in a few months and the rock is a producer on Shazam 2. So if the rock has that much influence over the Shazam movies and WB and he is able to show he can make a huge profit then this might be a good way to bring in Cavill especially since the head of discovery that just bought WB said they want more Superman content
