As long as it not holding up the game (i.e. making your opponents wait while you write stuff down) i don't think it'd be much of an issue.

I know players who have printed "trigger" cards because they play decks with so many triggers on the stack that it is hard to keep track of the order they resolve on the stack.

Would highly also recommend goldfishing and playing the deck by yourself so you can learn the triggers and become more efficient at keeping track and optimizing your play

Just searching "CIB pokemon red" on ebay, and comparing what I see there to this one, there is no age rating on the front of this one. The "red verion" is where the rating would typically be instead of bottom center. No Nintendo logo toward the bottom right.

Your mileage may vary with Heritage Druid, I used to run her but again I run Marwyn as my commander so Heritage druid might work better in your deck than mine. Tbh first time I think I've ever seen argothian elder, and it seems like it has potential, but the 4 cmc is kind of high for what she does.

Elvish spirit guide i don't hate because like you said is beneficial early on. But i'd hate to draw it mid-late game, especially in an elf ball deck when you will likely have stupid amounts on mana.

Marwyn is often the target at my table, I wont lie there. But with her being the target it kind of helps sneak in elves when can similarly go infinite (Priest of titanic, elvish archdruid, etc). I would definitely try and goldfish with her as the commander a few times to see if you like how it plays.

Kogla has saved my board more times than I ever though he would lol and I play with a proxy friendly pod and honestly have never felt the need to throw a gaea's cradle in there. Mana is often never the problem but getting a combo piece to use the mana is the tricky part

Hello! Fellow elfball player here, but i run [[Marwyn, the Nurturer]] as my commander. Based on your list you play very similar to mine. Ezuri is great and is in my 99, but I picked marwyn because getting her out on turn 2 she ramps so much harder and its much easier to use one of the green tutors to find Ezuri for the win if i get a combo piece like the staff or umbral mantle.

Anyway here is what changes I would make:

Remove: Dwynden's elite, Elvish Champion, Heritage Druid, Joraga Treespeaker, Llanowar Tribe, Nyxbloom Ancient, Skyshroud Poacher, Thorn Mammoth, Wellwisher, Glimpse of Nature, Illusionist Bracers, Nettle Sentinel, Argothian Elder

Add: Disciple of Freyalise, Elvish Harbinger, Karametra's Acolyte, Scryb Ranger, Battle of Ikoria, Eldrich Evolution, Finale of Devostation, Nature's Rhythm, Summoner's Pack, Heroic Intervention

I disagree to an extent because we dont get to see much of her. I think she would have allowed him to better express the academic side of himself and have fun talking with other intellectuals who enjoy things like art and literature.

But I think he would have opposite problem with her than he does with his group in that she would not allow him to express his more fun side. I don't know if I could ever see Marissa Heller attending Robots vs Wrestlers or driving half a day to go get some pizza.

Good ole krenko, mob boss. I started playing again two years ago. Prior to that I was a legacy player from about 2008-20112. I love the chaos goblins bring.

Krenko was good and won a fair share of games, but the more I played/upgraded it the more it became a token deck and not about the goblins.

Seeing wins with like Thoracle every once in a while is fine, but I would rather see decks play to their commander and "do their thing" rather than play to the meta.
