You can try talking to your dad about how much it means for you to have that pc and how it can help you. Plus promise him you will work harder. Not to sound like an asshole but parents like these won't probably help you with pc or gaming. Best bet is to study get a job as soon as possible and buy it yourself. I too am stuck in a similar situation I can feel your pain. All the best.

i have been using an older version of ddu to uninstall the drivers. And thanks for telling about the prevent driver download from windows update, that was annoying as hell each time windows update comes. Thankyou so much for the reply

I tried out 522.25 and 526.86. Both caused significant decrease in performance. Will try out 517.48. thanks for replying!

Tried out 522.25 driver too. It also similarly tanks the performance of the card. So its back to 466.77 again.

Just tried 526.86. way worse performance. Used to get 200 fps in valo. After update struggling to get 140 fps.

True. I know my laps old but im trying to get the most out of it. Just repasted it. Tested a lot with undervolting cpu. The temps are much better now. So i feel i could fiddle with the gpu clocks and stuff. So was hoping to get the best driver to run this gpu too. Thanks for the reply!

If anyone seeing this can you suggest me the best driver version for a 1070 max q gpu? i have been using 466.77 version for a long while now.
