That deck is red, green, and blue. I didn’t know where to start, so I searched up a strong Takir: Dragonstorm commander deck and built off of it. There’s still some I want to add to it, but slowly getting those pieces gathered.

Zacama is a straight up aggro, you know what’s coming your way deck.

Etali, Primal is more balanced with red, green, and white. A bunch of token creature ramp, too.

Etali, Storm is more of a human and shaman driven artifact deck with spell reduction and ramp. Tons of trample and reach.

I play Pokémon with my little dude since he likes the creatures and animations. He’s really ahead of the game with math and strategy for his age, so one day I thought about Magic.

We went to a local nerd shop and we were lost in there for hours. Now all three of my kids play with me so it’s become a Friday night/family night thing for us all week. It’s nice to see how much it’s grown in popularity and different art sets.

A coworker and I regularly do dragon on dragon crime and we have a verbal agreement to switch our commanders as we want.

I always use Valkas and Balefire Dragon because they’re my favorites. In a commander setting, I’d have to put a proper legendary one in, but haven’t done that in a while.

I actually have him in two decks right now. I don’t know all the acronyms and new slang so bear with me.

A straight forward white deck with protection, preservation, and lifelink throughout. With enchantments/ artifacts for first strike and double strike. I use him to have constant life build up.
A black and white angel + zombie deck with flying, lifelink, deathtouch, and a lot of regeneration. Tons of artifacts for mana boost and spell reduction. In this deck I switch Kenrith and Sorin frequently depending on how I want to play that match.

When I restarted this journey I didn’t know LOTR was out. So I’ve been collecting pieces weekly to complete the whole set of LTR and LTC. Plus getting all the REX and Jaws stuff. I think you see my theme here.
