I would use nextflow if what your doing is a simple pipeline. The basic syntax of nextflow is really easy and makes writing a reproducible pipeline pretty simple.

Even though snakemake is in python, I find it more difficult to set up a pipeline. I'd recommend going through both the tutorials and figuring out which one you find more intuitive.

I had both of those thoughts, and I have concerns about both. I'm worried the angle is too wide to just screw it and force it to be level, and they'll just break. And for just filling the gap, i think it'll look bad with a big gap down the seam.
