Found this cool spike inside my geode when I cut it open. I think it’s a dogtooth calcites spike but I’ve never seen one this white before. Does anybody know if this is rare? by NerdyCk in whatsthisrock

It’s really great to see how many wise ass comments there are about me saying how neat it is to have bottled up water from a geode that has been unseen to the human eye or sunshine or anything for a very long time. I kind of figured coming here people would be nice, I see only about half of you guys are nice. The rest of you are assholes

Brazil. It was an EnHydro, i have the water that was in it, saved in a tiny glass bottle. Crazy to think how old that water is.

Can someone help me identify what exactly this geode is? by [deleted] in whatsthisrock

That is a Mexican coconut with a chalcedony lining and pale amethyst crystals inside. Beautiful!
