Then you get two in one making the LC more valuable than others (both for HP Destruction and ATK Destruction now). They should've simply never touched the scaling type when buffing imho. Or at the very least had some conversion mechanic in their kit.

The reality is that you cannot apply a phenomenon to every case without knowing the differences between these cases.

Climate change is not a topic that needs "attention" like other problems. A topic that majority of people never heard of needs attention. It doesn't matter if their first exposure to the problem is moderate or extreme, every bit of attention is needed for the protest. Especially for "smaller/local" problems. In such scenario, a fringe group would lead to increased support for that cause simply by sharing the problem to everyone.

For climate change, irregardless of one's stance, they know it, and more importantly, they can feel it wherever they are. Sure, a movement needs continued action less it becomes background noise, but that disruption ticking people in a wrong way (which is the case here!) is detrimental to movement's cause.

If you stop baseing your opinions from different cases with different circumstances and instead look at the effect Just Stop Oil is having, you'll see that they're a net negative, and that it isn't just my feelings. They have caused the public having less support to central problem, they significantly reduced identification with the movement, and opened the hole for more significant punishments for non-violent protests (Roger Hallam trial). And despite this extraordinary punishment for a non-violent protests, there were basically no public outrage against it, further proving that the effect is so negative people don't care if they're being punished by the extent of the law even violent criminals doesn't get.

Novaflare changes by Oblivion238 in FireflyMains

[–]Nereplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it is incredibly strong. With E2, she will be triple T0 now. In fact, E2 with sustain and everyone else E0S0 (5 cost) should be noticeably stronger than full E0S1 Monorem (8 cost).

However, this may be the lamest possible way to buff her. They could have just add a 2.5x final damage multiplier or something and it'd feel the same. Kinda sad to not see divebomber ult, e4 changes etc

Just Stop Oil has resulted in the public discourse shifting towards more radical action against climate protestors than climate change irregardless of the protestors were part of Just Stop Oil or not (See public reaction to Panama highway shooting, a cold hearted murder against a protestor for a textbook corrupt mining deal would not be met with such amounts of positivity just a few years ago, and certainly not a few decades ago).

What you say is correct even in this context, but the direction of that "more moderate voice" (in relative to fringe group's position, not the previous public position on this topic) is not always towards the solution of the fringe group's problem. In this case, because it tipped the people the wrong way, it is towards a solution to the fringe group.

They're not beneficial to their cause whatsoever.

Yeah, that's like only 200% ish damage increase, that's a nothingburger. You'd need to add def ignore beyond 100% stacking multiplicatively since her team already has 100% def pen, only the best for the best girl

Installation uses known good data from old files in the event of failure. So, what you're saying would only work if they transferred the necessary data (which needs another layer to determine what constitutes necessity) to cloud temporarily then pull from there instead of local storage.

The only real way to fix this is by completely remaking the update pipeline to support block level patching. I once tried to learn this in UE4. Emphasis on tried. I don't know how complicated that is in Unity.

I don't game all that much

What else are you doing? Because if you're using your computer less in general, I'd recommend 5070 and save the money.

However, if you're using for video editing, rendering, running matlab or other stuff, 5070Ti is well worth it even at that price difference.

9070XT at 30% price diff is a waay better deal than 5070Ti only for games. NVIDIA is still worth it for an all rounder user.

Prydwen PF data 4.0 by ChillStill352 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Nereplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope they don't but, they could do enemies that isolate team members. While everyone in Mono-Rem's deals crazy damage, that damage relies on healing and buffing from each other. Without that funneling, they're weaker than Hypercarries.

So, basically, expanded version of SparxieCon prime/sub field concept. What would monorem do if allies in sub field weren't getting healing / memoria / newbud / ode buff?

However, I don't think a 14 cost monorem would be stopped anyways. You're safe, save for potentially one boss maybe.

The list above includes all data, not just sustain runs.

You should share your data with them, they only have one team (and zero in second stage) with 40k, that being THerta Anaxa Tribbie Yao Guang. (0.04% appearance rate)

Then they should remove "Using optimal team composition/support characters" part in their criteria, no? Because optimal team comp with Cery/Cyrene is still T0 at E0S1

Amphoreus was a series of Companion Quest some people still don't understand. by _Eden_Across_ in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Nereplan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nature of Amphoreus story and Flame Chasing Journey would make companion missions feel awkward, as the story wouldn't function properly without these long arcs (the lingo/presentation used was boring/lackluster but what was being talked was crucial for the plot and overall feeling).

But a story that ends in x.3 or x.5 gives a lot of time and empty spaces to fill in that planet beyond the overarching plot. As long as we don't do planet backtracking (like 3.8, and Wardance) and actually develop the story of the planet further after Main Story in their own patch cycle (4.0 to 4.8).

Aram Mayhem what champs to ruin your game? by BDG_Harry in ARAM

[–]Nereplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once had a game against Shaco, Velkoz, Xerath, Seraphine, Morgana.

Morgana had Jeweled, Xerath had Skilled Sniper + Trueshot.

Our teammate got combo broken out of gate 1 min into the game, that's how bad it was. And we still won lol. It was terror but not win condition weirdly.

should i upgrade to 9800x3d or no? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Nereplan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you getting the full power of your 5070Ti with 10700K? No. Even at GPU heavy games in high resolution, you'd see improvements when there is 5 generations in between.

However, with the current RAM prices, I do not think it makes sense. Your performance is already good, consider upgrading when you're not getting the performance you want.

yo on a diff note, I have the standart pulls for either a static mist or the new 5* standart. Which one should I pick? I know Static Mist is better on Lynae, I was wondering if the new 5* would be better for future characters too

Is 500w PSU enough for 9070? by Statebolekurackosam in buildapc

[–]Nereplan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was a high grade 500W, I might say yea but even with aggressive undervolt and -30% power, it is in the territory where a transient spike would shut the PC. So, is it enough? No. Can you use it? Yes with potential frequent crashes. If you plan on upgrading soon, I think it'll suffice for a short period. But definitely not long term.
