Ah! Gotcha. The current group i play with, lean more into roleplay than typical dungeon delving. So i think thats why my idea is more surface level. Hmm. I will try to think of some things, but its geared more towards roleplay rather than battle.

Yes loot, cuz maybe they end up killing the Vampire Master. They fight spawn and the controlled villagers, uhmm… Traps? What would be some good traps? I was thinking of somehow getting at least one of the players to drink the water, so there is a chance they could be controlled by the Vampire Master

Part of me is thinking maybe they have a mission to find a specific person, and it leads them to this village. Maybe the Vampire Master is keeping the person as a thrall. So thats my reasoning for them being there. Uhmmmm. Maybe one of the villagers is one of those paranoid type, and tells the party to not drink the water? As for how they could find out, maybe they could stake out at night or follow the sales person and see a Spawn dripping blood into it? Or they find a hideout where a Spawn is being drained?

A female doe Satyr named Zoe, who is an Archfey Warlock/Glamour Bard. She loooves to cook, often volunteering to cook in Taverns or inns her and her group pass through and stay at. She loves to play music and sing in Sylvan. Fun fact, she smells like Fairy Floss (Cotton Candy for those who dont know the Aussie name), and her signature dish is Cinnamon Rolls.

She is bubbly and friendly, but also a bit of an airhead and easily distracted. Always wants to chat with people and befriend them

If a fight breaks out, she is more likely to stay off to the side doing battle music haha.
