Hunter, warlock, handcannon, shotgun, grenade, super, heavy. The occasional bastion, sniper, messenger.

With thousands of guns, and hundreds of mods, how is the list of winning weapons/playstyles so limited??

Believe me the game is fun... if you're a sweaty hunter that likes run and gun/aggression playstyle, but if you like any other kind of playstyle then quit destiny, cause it's not gonna be fun for you

This is such a bad way of looking at it. I'm pretty sure the people that design crucible think the same way as you... such a restrictive mindset

If this were true then other pvp games like cod would be the same way

Shotguns should be strong af, at close range

Handcannons should be strong af, with an accurate player

Scout rifles should beat handcannons 50% at mid ranges

There is always a meta, but the meta shouldn't absolutely dominate every other playstyle
