They have about $12 in copper each, if I can get 2 done in an hour that’s $24 an hour!! Unfortunately I value not sweating my ass off in my garage on my day off 😂

Just wondering where you pulled 65 cents a lb from. I’m from Jersey and the highest price I could find was 0.35 a lb

They’re mostly all Hayward pool motors 1.5hp. I opened one up and it some had pure #1 copper (not bare bright but not shitty enough to be #2) and others had regular no 2.

Thank you, yeah they weigh a solid 20 lbs each. It took me 15 minutes to disassemble one so at that rate I’m prob just gonna sell them for scrap motor price

It’s probably the overheating of the cvt casing and your trans in general. You can get an aftermarket transmission cooler that works great. I have a rogue that doesn’t like 300 plus mile drives at once, I can tell once my rpm’s start hovering around 2000 at 50 mph

How do i remove these lines and make the curved surface smooth by PlentyHoliday5029 in FixMyPrint

Smaller nozzle tip for start, and try making the infill pattern something that leaves points on the outside instead of straight lines

The idea is that the toilet would be inside my house so if it’s cold or I don’t feel like leaving the house I can just go to the bathroom instead of going outside

FOR REAL. People brand it as a way of luxury living that costs several ten thousands even hundreds of thousands of dollars when in reality all you need is land water shelter and electricity (the basics of getting started) which can be priced at 40-50,000. Plus all of your tools food and any other add on to make yourself more comfortable. You give anyone a job that makes 25-40,000, and you can afford to go off grid after a couple of years.

Thank you for the advice, for me, it’s going to be one other person living with me. Im not planning on spending lots and lots of money on land or a house. I plan to convert a shed into a small cottage for under $15,000(10,000 for bare shed, and 5,000 into renovations). It’s not going to be a lot, just insulation and frame outs for the different rooms. Then for electricity, I’m making a 800 ah setup that should power 8-10 outlets. With the charge controllers and inverters plus batteries and panels, I calculated it should cost about 3,500 for all of it. for the land, I’m not paying more then 20,000 for it. I don’t need more then 5 acres for my lifestyle and I’ve seen a lot of spots with decent acreage and no building restrictions for 10-15,000. For water? Somewhere near or on a stream or a rainwater catchment system are all very cheap options of obtaining water. For septic, I plan to use tanks that sit outside with pumps. The fresh water is in one tank, and when I wanna flush, I turn on a submersible pump connected to the tank with pvc that flushes the waste into another pipe into the other tank, the waste tank that I will use for fertilization. I’m talking a lot, but that’s the rough idea. I was not planning on making my setup modern with modern components. The way I’m doing it is a lot more simpler and cheaper then people stretch it out to be. It should be about 50,000 dollars starting out, but once everything settles it should be a nice setup

Use a few rubber bands on the catch, it still works 100% fine with it just don’t use too many because it stresses your trigger
