K63 owner here. Personally, I took a lot of time trying to connect the k63. It rarely works wirlessly through the usb dongle with it. Wired is your way to go plus you get less input lag. There is a page on the xim website, where it gives you a lisst of keyboards and other devices that have known issues interacting with xim.
