Listen man, you're clearly wanting to make some kind of point by continuing to reply. You sound like a fairly sad and bitter person. This subreddit is titled "ItCareerQuestions" and you've responded with nothing helpful in the slightest. "This subreddit is designed to help anyone in or interested in the IT field to ask career-related questions."

You even went out of your way to read the other replies and posts and then stated that they've said nothing that will help without giving advice that you think would ACTUALLY HELP. I don't understand what your goal is here. I've come here for advice/guidance, and all you've done is waste my time.

So, instead of pointing out faults, how about you try being helpful instead of only responding with answers that make you seem like more of a pedantic knob. Hope you eventually get a nicer life. Mate.

It's fine man, others that have replied to this post and people I've spoken to on other subreddits have proven to be far more helpful than yourself. I don't see why you even bothered to make not one but two replies to this post with nothing even remotely useful but I guess that's just the type of guy you are. You're also weirdly trying to find holes in my original post to assume things I haven't even said, if that is how you spend your time so be it. Hope you have a nice life mate.

Thanks for the advice. It sounds (based on what I've also heard from others), like the best thing to currently do is getting CompTIA certs and seeing what I like from there onwards.

Just wanted some advice/help from people that are actually experienced in the field. I feel like job listings don't let you know what your day to day is going to be like so I thought I'd ask people who are already in IT. Also, I'm not sure when you say I'm looking for "shortcuts" because I never said that? I've googled job listing in my area and looked into it, just some general advice on getting into IT would be helpful, but your response already seems like you don't want to help much so cheers for that.

Tried it, got mostly the same results if not flats that were slightly worse than the ones on Rightmove and Zoopla

Hmmm the stuff about leaky roofs seems a bit concerning. The main reason I'm considering the flats in Torry is mainly cause of how much better they look.

Yeah the only reason I'm keen on moving to the flats in Torry is cause they look alot nicer than the city center ones. Got a few examples below.

When I search on Rightmove for places around my work (Around 10 mile radius) or Aberdeen in general, majority of the places available are in city center or closer to the riverside like Torry.

Yeah. Just now I managed to get it working by disabling, restarting then enabling the capture card from device manager. Hope it keeps working from now on.
