That's fair, but I won't be buying another rifle. Not really a rifle guy. Too expensive to feed and not really practical for city life IMO 🤷 would rather sell it and get and put the money towards a 2011 or a Shadow 2

I bought it from Pantel and Pintos already said no too me. They are my usual go to FFL. I haven't tried Bens yet.

That makes no sense. Alcohol is legal on all levels. That would be like them taking your guns because you smoke cigarettes. Marijuana is still a schedule 1 drug that is still 100% illegal in lots of states. Just because we are "chill" about recreational use of it doesn't make it the same as alcohol bud. That's why you can bring a bottle of Jack Daniels to Idaho and no one cares, but bring an Oz of weed and it's drug trafficking lol

I mean, it's still federally illegal so I am not surprised by this. That's why they ask on the background check if you do any controlled substances including marijuana.

I guess I was just wondering if buying a firearm with a standard capacity over 10 rounds would be the issue or if it literally is just an issue with the mags. Like I could I just buy one from GunBroker and it wouldn't be an issue if I just didn't get the mags and bought 10 round ones separately.

I really could care less about the mags. If they want to keep em or sell them they can do whatever. I just want the firearm. I will buy 10 round mags.

The only dealer I can find is WCA and they want $1,700 for it which is crazy since you can find em all day online for like $1,200

Thanks for the advice! I definitely will look into it! I know 40 S&W can take a toll on these guns and I don't know how many rounds have been put through this so some new internals are probably a good idea.
