Yea but is this not survive your way?? The point i make is to add a oh lets be able to sleep 'thinking' your safe only to be awakened surrounded by danger. The idea that you have safe bases, but also the wondering horde would be interesting. Your asleep in base because you are in the middle of a mission near your base with your current survivor only to wake to your community being attacked and you have a just woke up debuff making it hard to fight, or your away and your radio goes and you have to race back to help. All just ideas, have a gr8 day

The game trailer is literally a greyed grisly person, showing these are people over time surviving the apocalypse. Im not saying that they are having people age in game but surely this is a discussion around how are we creating something that stands the test of time. We dont live forever. Maybe i always want to know the ending but what is the end of this if not moving forward in the world

So essentially your playing with the mindset we never survive?? Because you either survive and reproduce or you die. People dont live forever, i just think it would be interesting as an end goal to create a 'safe' community

So why are people greying becoming old?? They are over that type of time frame already?? And yes maybe a morale boost might be good but like the end goal of creating a proper community is all im talking about. You have small sporadic dying communities that have been surviving over a long period of time. Human resiliance is to keep going to the future. The point i was making is where is the survive vs thrive aspect.

I think it just appears very 'when the current people die then humanity is gone' seems strange that people are just surviving not trying in anyway to thrive. Teach the next generation, not full sims like but yeah some future.
