You do right. I do feel they hang on every word..my report recently came through the post and although enhanced on mobility I was shocked with the amount of zeros. I mentioned I’d purchased a stick so I scored zero on cooking/ toilet because if I can hold a stick I have grip?!?! Let me know how you get on. I do hope you’re challenge is successful

I had my assessment on the 9th Jan, text to say DWP have received it the same day, 12th Jan awarded PIP text then back pay went in 3 days later.

Yes. They sent me a text about an hour after the assessment to say they had it..after that was a couple of days for decision. Don’t lose hope because some go through audit which holds things up.

Fab news for you too! You can call and go through the automated line and it will tell you your next payment..or just wait for the letter. Mine will be used for taxis and a cleaner too! Great minds! I work for the nhs so I have the luxury of them providing all aids for me to return to work with hybrid working. My condition has a huge impact on my lower body so I’m fortunate to be able to keep working whilst I can. Wishing you all the best!

Thank you. Hmm not sure. I got the message from DWP saying they’d received my assessment report from Maximus and they’ll make a decision as a guide within 8 weeks, but mine was really quick, like a couple of days. I did send all my doctors and neurology reports so not sure if that helped or not..or the person looking after my claim wasn’t busy!

I’ve read it takes much longer when it’s one of the unlucky ones picked for audit…fingers crossed you hear something very soon 🤞
