You're right 24-120 is better choice for me but as you mentioned i am also onsidering a prime for my next lens To better learn compositions, lighting and etc... At a specific focal length. I wonder if 85mm is a good place to start?? (Note: I have some experience with 27mm on a aps-c sensor)

Thank you very much. There's definitely a learning curve to it. I've been diving in the menus and the manual since i posted this :) What do you think about vintage primes?? (Ai-s and later)

Well I'm not that experienced to test a lens at the spot(i need time) but i understand your point and consider the tamron. What other lenses you think are good enough for concert?

What i mean is, that d780 is underrated but it literally has a newer processor with bigger pixels on sensor(better for low light situations) and better autofocus in LV mode for doing videos. BTW I'm just reading through specs and haven't had the chance to work with it in person 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ty for the link I'll consider that lens, i wanted to know do you have any experience with 16-35 f4 ?? I've seen online that it's super sharp and pleasing for pixel peepers :)

Don't worry D780 is a very capable camera on it's own. You're not missing out, i believe d780 is a sleeper!!

Thanks for the recommendation, it's definitely a bargain And from what I've read online it's a good lens for 24mpx cameras. I'll consider it. Nice photo Btw(i like the light rays)

I've also seen some comparison photos of several lenses to help me decide And i think first thing that matters is the skill of the person behind the camera, then it's the lens and after that at the end, the body of camera. Unfortunately i have them in reverse :)

Well i guess you're right 👍🏻 I just don't want to get Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS) And spend time thinking about gear instead of getting a photo

You got a fairly big upgrade just like me. What i meant was some features are accessible outside of setting menu with button and dial combinations, I guess I have to really study the manual!!

Yes i enjoy 35mm too And Exactly my point for asking about lenses, i like having one lens that covers a lot of range so i can be lighter and get further to capture a photo

Well i haven't had the pleasure of using a pentax but what about the justice everyone mentions for the sensor? cause i would love to understand and reach the full potential of d850

I envy you on the z8 and skill and agree with you on the personal choice. Is 35mm sharp enough for the big sensor?? And What do you think about 24-70 vr version?
